Any word on the condition of Cameron LNG?

Heard they aren't letting people in until tomorrow, not completely positive though. Also heard Venture Global came out pretty good considering

TWC coverage is borderline bizarre. It’s like they’re trying to be as boring and uninformative as possible. They haven’t even mentioned the chemical fire burning out of control in the background. They have to know about it right???

This dude on TWC said he talked to someone confused about what did the damage in Lake Charles. He said the dude said he heard something about a hurricane but didn't think it was coming there.

They need to buy a small squadron of drones for after storms and just fly em around and get footage.

I've reached out to my contact with Venture Global and Cameron LNG, once I hear something, I'll post it. VG lucked out, if Laura would have gone to the west on the LA/TX line, they would have been nailed badly.

My mother in law’s friend stayed in Iowa and said they got hit hard. Roofs gone, no cell or phone service. No electricity. No assistance can get in or out.

TWC did retweet this... so someone in the organization is aware of the situation

BREAKING: Billowing smoke from a large chemical plant fire rolls over Interstate 10 near Lake Charles. Residents warned to stay inside, close windows and shut off A/C.

Unfortunately very believable. My wife has some extended family over near Jennings and Welsh and we can't get a hold of them.

Thanks for that info.

They’re not blocking the interstate but there’s a bunch of pine trees down along I-20. That’s pretty strong winds from a hurricane this far north.

Figure it was like 50-60 sustained with some gusts pulling 70-80. Sound about right?

That is odd. TWC's website, weather.com, has a story about the fire.

Imagine that...

You somehow still have power after a Cat 4 hurricane or have a generator and still don't have A/C
