So far we have:

Damaged homes and businesses
A chemical fire
I-10 Shut down
No shelters open
Corona virus

The I-10 being shut down in Louisiana is just the DOTD's version of traffic control.

Update on the chemical fire though--no one is able to access the area so it is burning out of control without timeframe of when our first responders will get to it.

Every time TWC goes to their guy in Shreveport he has to tell us that this is the first time Shreveport has ever been under a hurricane warning. We got it man, you’ve said it 56 times today.

I'd love to load up the smoker and the grill on my trailer and go cook for some of you guys butt don't really know anyone in LC. I did go ahead and join Operation BBQ Relief as a volunteer.

Right now where your next meal is coming from shouldn't be a stress while trying to get your life back together.

This dude on TWC said he talked to someone confused about what did the damage in Lake Charles. He said the dude said he heard something about a hurricane but didn't think it was coming there.
