11 ft at Cameron jetty and 5 ft at Sabine jetty.. As long as the tide stations didn't go out, they missed the surge by a mile..

I just got outside.. no damage to my house. It looks like someone chopped leaves into tiny pieces and covered my house and truck with it.. leaves were 4 inches deep on the driveway and porches..

Not sure how true that is. I’m hearing one area lost power at 1AM.

Also hearing that a house in Myrtle Bay on the water had its doors blown in.

Any houses/ buildings get water in them ?

Hope y’all fellas have minimal damage this AM. I don’t think Lafayette got the extent of what they predicted. No power lost here in Milton.

No power lost here in Youngsville.

It hit as a strong Cat 4. Hell it’s still a Cat 2 and it’s almost to fricking Leesville.

He’s beyond help.

His mama always told him how smart he was and he’s living the lie.

So did it get as bad as everyone was hoping it wouldn't when it made landfall? I fell asleep when she was around 50 miles out. LC do ok?

Hope everyone is safe this morning.

I'm not convinced social media doesn't make the embellished/ exaggerated stories worse than reality.
You'd figure that you would get a straight forward, hey here's what we are dealing with report.
