Just heard on KPLC that people stayed in Cameron Parish. Johnson bayou, Hackberry and Big Lake. Some in travel trailers. Per Danny Laverne Cameron Parish OPD

It’ll be convenient because they can just bury the entire travel trailer with the corpses inside

A travel trailer in Cameron parish? That is certain death I would think

All the best, and hope you will be okay, but you’re going to be without power for a very long time and forced to evacuate when it’s 95 with no AC. I just don’t get not evacuating. All the best and stay safe.

But WHY would they stay there??? I’ll never understand that.

I mean, some people just won’t go. I thought people learned after Katrina but memories are short.

I’m sure they will be counted as covid deaths by JBE.

Further proof how much "better" the west side of the storm is.
Lo and behold, the difference is almost equivalent to the forward speed.

Brave to assume they’ll be anything left of the trailers.

Anyone know what wind loads the I-10 bridge in Lake Charles were rated for?
