Just trying to show off the girls. It's a common pose for women who've been augmented tbh

And I’m pretty sure a lot of folk are gonna get told to EAD in this thread if there’s another easterly shift at 4am

What's so funny is the eye is going to be bigger than these 10 mile shifts. Might matter for the Triangle but doesn't really change the game east of the Sabine.

I’m talking about this eddy at around 90 degrees. Nothing that close the rest of the way.

Over. I’d venture to guess at least a 1/3 of the whole thread will be about the aftermath. Probably more.

As soon as we have the rapid intensification and then when it stalls over land, will this be the longest thread ever?

Bingo!

The models take alot of flak, and the GFS has been considered inferior to it's Euro counterpart for awhile, but lets take a minute and give it some fricking credit.

This is every 6 hour run since Friday at lunch or so. Notice that every image is from 1AM Thursday morning, so both the timing and the location has been pretty damn on point:

I think the point is the more east it comes the more widespread the impact in La becomes.

Slack- nice graphic. Do you have one for anticipated wind speed and/or gust? I don’t know where to find it. Not the probability but the actual projections. Starting to worry the M will blow the H over.

It's all warm and deep up until the shoreline. Ocean Heat Content is plenty high to support a strong hurricane coming in.

I see what you're getting at though, but it's all warm enough from here on out.

Maybe but all of Louisiana is still going to feel the impacts of this storm. Some more than others. All our luck ran out with Marco and tbh, Louisiana has been extremely lucky with hurricanes for awhile now. It had to run out at some point and of course it had to do it on a potential record year.
