Maybe a quarter h east?

The shear is definitely still out of the ~north. Downshear-left is a preferred location for enhanced convection in a strong vortex, & that direction is east in this case. The asymmetric wind field may have induced track wobbles if vort perturbations formed within S flow on E side
That is quite the word vomit

The Boat will post a zoomed in graphic any minute now.
The only problem is that the fixes are 12 hours apart, so drawing straight lines between them can give an illusion that landfall has shifted east/west when it really hasn't.

7-11ft. surge a pretty good ways east of where the center is projected to come in, such as Vermillion Bay.

Can’t tell if these quarter H shifts comments are legit or not

Now lets have the discussion of does the "opposite of west" trend continue?

Lake Charles is about to be swarmed with even more shitty contractors

Bienville Parish (where I live) is now under a tropical storm warning. Insane. I’m almost in Arkansas.

Those surge levels are getting awfully close to Rita numbers.
