Supposedly there has been 100k breakthrough cases in the last 2 months. They said there was a 10x increase since when they stopped counting breakthrough cases in May.
Not clear when they started counting again but I’m guessing that Delta variant caused a lot of breakthroughs. Still provided good protection to the recipient but they were contagious nonetheless.

The fact that she is mayor of the biggest city in Louisiana is a true testament to what a dumpster fire this state has become. Y’all defend it all yall want but Louisiana fricking sucks.

I had a great time fishing last weekend out of Dulac.
I’m excited about Jazz Fest (for now)
I always have a new favorite restaurant when I leave NOLA.
I’ve had fun at Mardi Gras a number of times.
I don’t hunt but I hear that’s fun.
I don’t gamble much but like the option.
I miss my days at LSU - especially the women.

Personally, I think that’s a shitty thing to do. People have had enough time to get vaccinated at this point. It’s now on them if they are unvaccinated. That’s their choice. They shouldn’t be requiring everyone to put a mask back on because some people chose not to get the vaccine.
