Or they turned in the strong batch first and their own internal audit concerns later to minimize the time the registrar would have them in hand

If so, they might have screwed up big time. From what I understand reading the documentation from the registrar, the 5 day grace period only applies to new signatures and any signatures obtained prior to the original deadline would have had to go in the first batch to be considered.

“Signature dated before petitioner deadline” was one of the rejection reasons listed under “other.”

Something is fricky

Think they verify the votes like they did with these signatures? LOLOLOL

Don't need an ID to vote, but we need to verify these recall signatures!

They should break down per other code I’d like to know how many were rejected for profanity

Agreed.. especially when that category includes like 2/3 of the batch.

Also what does unable to verify petitioner intent mean?

To me it sounds like the NOLA 2023 version of a hanging chad. But idk.

I know Donald Duck who lives on Esplanade. That is a totally legitimate signature.

I just find it so hard to believe that almost 2/3 of the signatures were thrown out.

That's either the Orleans Registar effen up big time or organizers not giving AF who signs it, whether from out-of-parish, state etc.

If it means anything, removing Teedy would do basically nothing as Chicago will soon find out. When the problem is the city itself, changing passive mayor for passive mayor won't do anything.

BINGO

Ok so she somehow gets recalled, who is the next mayor? A carbon copy of LaToya.

The problem is the inhabitants.

So they could blanket reject all of those additional signatures because they weren't on time?

THOSE are the possible reasons for “other” being listed? Holy shite this was absolutely rigged. They could have at least balanced the rejected numbers to not look so obvious
