Here's the problem.
Korban is an engineer who is not from here. There is no doubt that the system is an unholy mess and it's only for the grace of God that we haven't had a total collapse of the system. Eventually, it's going to happen.
Yes, we can sit here and talk about how millions and millions and lots more have been pissed away over all these years. How the system had plenty of money to keep it in good order, over the years, that was wasted. How absolute clowns were in charge and are now getting fat pensions.
But at the end of the day, the system is still a complete disaster and probably close to total collapse. There's going to be a day - probably not far away - when the water isn't going to come out when you turn on the tap, or it's going to be brown, or, the drains won't work, etc.
Then what?
The terrible reality is that the people of the city are going to have to pay up for the needed fixes. I don't see any other alternative.

As of now, I'd have to agree. At least Latoya started off her administration on a positive note by attempting to improve city government efficiency.
