None of your mindless drivel has anything to do with Ukraine. The issues your brought up could be dealt with domestically while also supporting our allies geopolitically.

In fact, our country has had the ability to deal with both domestic and international issues simultaneously for decades now… what a concept!

Our country has the ability to do both, but does it have the people in place to do both? IDK and it is a topic for the political board. The aide bill is relevant since it directly impacts the war but the other stuff is for the PT board.

AS the impetus for the invasion was to take control of additional natural resources and gain complete access and control of ports on the Black Sea, I would say yes. How else would they achieve this?

Let OML answer. His viewpoint is one shared by liberals widely, that the US is buttressing this crisis by expanding NATO into Russian spheres of influence. But what drove the interests of those first countries who were accepted into NATO in 1998? Because again, the notion that they were coerced by the US is ahistorical and nonsensical.

Sorry to de-rail the political BS of the last three pages. lol

Chrome, if Ukraine pushes that far in like your blur arrows show, are they opening themselves up to being spread too thin to defend against something if Russia decides to change tactics?
I’m sure that would mean Russia would have to divert a good deal of resources from other parts of Ukraine, so I assume it’s not a bad plan.

True and the worse answer is letting a dictator invade and annex neighboring countries. If France and Britain had committed to helping Czechoslovakia fighting Germany in 1938 Hitler probably would have backed down.

Again, nonsense. The idea that the US is buttressing war is intensely stupid. But geopolitics dictates you take advantage of the enemy's mistakes. And that's what we are doing.

but I just don't know what else we should do without the risk of escalation.

Continue what we're doing until Ukraine recovers their territory. Or Vlad kicks the bucket. Whichever happens first.

Russia will not frick with NATO. Not after seeing what NATO weaponry is capable of.

I'd go with realpolitik myself, but geopolitics works too.

I think if they had something (beyond WMD's) else in their quiver they'd be using it in Ukraine right now.

Is there something other than WMD that your worried about?

Uh, ya we do. We're seeing it live in Ukraine as we speak.

Please tell me you don't think Putin is holding back his super secret weapons and top tier troops?

The VDV is the cream of the Russian crop. And they were humiliated.

What? Should we just pull our support and let Russia seize all of Ukraine?
