He cannot regenerate more combat power in the short, medium or perhaps even long term. I don't think he's so detached from reality not to know that. Maybe he's counting on the west to get tired or fracture. Maybe when it starts getting cold again he expects Europe to come begging for Russian gas. That's not an outlandish thing to hang his hat on, but his army may not last until next fall.
They'll take the Donbas region and destroy the bulk of the Ukranian army in the East. They'll funnel more troops in over the coming months as needed. This will be a long term war that will end with total destruction of the Ukrainian CIA regime.

Where in the Donbas has Russia made significant progress since the 2nd phase of the war started back in April?
Russia has made some incremental advances trying to encircle Lysychansk/Sievierodonestsk but no major advance. They are within 30KM of where they started out.
This map shows the starting line (Red Line) and where their positions are now, a month later.
On the Southern battle line, Russia has taken Popsana (a 13KM advance) but none of the area around it. Notice the black border line by Popsana which represents the 2014 border...Russia has barely advanced at all in that region and only has taken one town (Popsana)
Where exactly is Ukraine getting pummelled?

How much are you willing to bet on this?

They've clearly made progress all along the front in SouthEastern Ukraine. The red line you mention is not the starting point. It clearly has shifted as evidenced by the images from April 8th vs May 9th. . .

I'm not aware of any western tanks in Ukraine's hands at this point.
I doubt there will be. They aren't cheap, and it takes quite some time to properly train a tank crew on them.
Right now NATO has been working on replacing Soviet tanks in NATO arsenals with NATO tanks and giving Ukraine the Soviet tanks. Slovaka has already given Ukraine its 22 T72s. Poland has already given 232 T72s to Ukraine and it has another 318 T72s and PT91s it could give Ukraine. Bulgaria has 80 active and 350 stored T72s, the Czechs have approximately 100 T72s active and stored T72s it could transfer to Ukraine with another 400 that could be donated for spare parts.
Tanks are not going to be the problem it is going to be ammo. Luckily Ukraine itself, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania have factories that can and are producing shells for the tanks.

Hunter's laptop that Jack Dorsey has publicly apologized for censoring on twitter prior to the 2020 election?
Elon said enough of that and bought it for himself so they couldn't censor the truth anymore.
Jack Dorsey says censoring Hunter Biden laptop was a total mistake

I don't keep my head in the sand and pretend that CIA and State department do not completely control Ukraine.

I feel sorry for the poor Ukrainian people who were forced to vote for Zelensky at gunpoint by the CIA.

On the frontlines with a Ukrainian artillery unit
Interesting that the territorial defense units have their own heavy artillery. The battery commander looks like a mild mannered school teacher. Nobody is a PT stud and their kit is a bit mix and match. But they know what they're about and they have an air of confidence.

I don't think you realize how little those advance are. They look bigger on a cut away section of the map, but they are smaller. In the past 30 days Russia has advanced south of Izyum a grand total of 50 kms but it is now withdrawing troops from that axis of advance to try and stop the Ukrainian counter attack around Kharkiv. In the past 30 days, if you add up all the Russia advances on Sieverdonetsk they are only 30 kms closer to encircling Sieverdonetsk. In the past 30 days, Russia has only advanced 10 kms and has not completely secured the small town of Popasna. Russia has to advance at least another 60 kms order to surround Sieverdonetsk and 120 kms to trap the Ukrainian forces. At their current pace it will take Russia between 6 weeks and 2 months to do that. Plenty of time for Ukraine to withdraw or counter attack. Are you stupid enough to believe that Ukraine will just sit there with their finger in its arse and let its troops get encircled? No. It will counter attack or withdraw before its troops get trapped. Ukraine has counter attacked twice and driven the Russians away from its 2 largest cities in the last 2 months. It can counterattack and drive the Russians out of the Donbas if Russia gives them a 2 month window.

All 73% of them. Especially since the CIA was able to control an election with secret paper ballots, no absentee voting unless a voter was in the hospital or deployed in the military, counted by hand, and all of it was observed by multiple international organizations. If the CIA is powerful enough to do that then they must be making life hell on the people of Ukraine. Now I understand why millions of Ukrainians including Ukrainians of Russian descent are welcoming Russian soldiers with open arms.

Russian positions on APRIL 1 before they retreated from the Northern attacks.
The yellow areas (added by me) on this map show the territory gained by Russia since April 1, 2022. The Blue areas are ground that Russia has given up in the same time period.
Marshal Zhukov is probably rolling in his grave.
