Given the dent their conventional warfare capabilities have taken on the world stage I don't see how "fine" is even in the cards unless he is actually holding back the "A Team" and they roll across Ukraine like it isn't there at some future time. As long as the West keeps pouring assets into the theater Russia is going to have an uphill slog, they can build all the "Cope Cages" they like on the top of their tanks but the NLAWS will continue to eat.

Those cope cages are just an example of how fricked they are, they don't even understand how a Javelin works. Oh, let's weld a BBQ grate on the top of our tanks to defeat the current gen NLAWs. Dumbass the Javelin recognizes the specific tank, knows how tall it is and knows exactly where to detonate so weld on you crazy diamond.

So?

It doesn't matter how much you read on a subject, it matters what you read on a subject.

Most posters on here view themselves as Civil War experts because they have read so much "history" about it. But the history they read is of the Lost Cause narrative.

Obviously my point went over your head.

The way you were trying to sugar coat the extremism of the Politards, I was making the claim that you are an alter of Circus.

Don't blame you for trying to put some white-wash on that board and what it's devolved into. Have to do what you can to maintain the image of your website, even if it is a harder war to fight than the one the Russians are fighting.

ETA: My reasoning for this being your alter Circus is simply this: This account was started in 2003, the year this website was created, and has less than 3000 posts.

Its your "damage-control" persona.

US Dollar - Considered not perhaps the "day to day we use this in our country" currency but certainly the "reserve/safe haven" currency of.

USA (26% of world GDP alone in USA) G7
Canada G7 (not sure if it is or is not)
Australia
New Zealand
Uk G7
Germany G7
France G7
Italy G7
Japan G7
South Korea

Againt the you have
Russia (not G7 but it was made G8 just for their feelings)
China - okay, legit G7
Maybe Some Arab nations that hate America like Iran.
India, Pakistan? They are hedging and Pakistan is having big turmoil right now if you read the news.
Venezuela
North Korea
Serbia

Gee, which currency do you think (especially after seeing this Russian military "performance") do you think the notoriously cautious Middle East oil Sheiks will prefer to use?

It aint gonna be the Russia - China monstrosity.

I blew half my life savings at the casino. I thought I had a fool proof system but it didn't work. I have to see it through with the other half because I have no choice. I'll come out fine.

Like me at the casino, Putin's grand strategy is based on variables he doesn't control. A shite plan based on shite assumptions is still shite, and doubling down won't make it a better plan. The best thing you can do is bail while you can instead of throwing more resources at an intractible problem trying to recover your sunk cost. Putin will see this through to the end, or at least until he can claim some kind of propaganda victory. But not because he's going to achieve his goals. It's because to do otherwise would appear weak, and the appearance of weakness is fatal to a tyrant.

That's a cute cartoon you have there Dylan.

Not to mention the belief that Russia and China are going to replace the Dollar as the world's top currency.

I know the guys over on the poli-board have been scared into believing that, but it's just not realistic.

Let's have a look at some information on the world GDp and economy.

World Population Review - GDP ranked by Country 2022

quote:

What are the largest economies in the world? According to the International Monetary Fund, these are the highest ranking countries in the world in nominal GDP:

1 United States (GDP: 20.49 trillion)
2 China (GDP: 13.4 trillion)
3 Japan: (GDP: 4.97 trillion)
4 Germany: (GDP: 4.00 trillion)
5 United Kingdom: (GDP: 2.83 trillion)
6 France: (GDP: 2.78 trillion)
7 India: (GDP: 2.72 trillion)
8 Italy: (GDP: 2.07 trillion)
9 Brazil: (GDP: 1.87 trillion)
10 Canada: (GDP: 1.71 trillion)

quote:

The United States has been the world’s largest economy since 1871

That's a long time being pretty stable and consistent.

Compared to:

quote:

China has seen an average growth rate of 9.52% between 1989 and 2019.

quote:

Additionally, the United States is ranked second in the world for the approximate value of natural resources. In 2016, the U.S. had an estimated natural resource value of $45 trillion.

quote:

China has approximately $23 trillion in natural resources, 90% of which are rare earth metals and coal.

Found this a little interesting, and seems to blow up the "We need to bring back manufactoring to the US. The entire industry is gone" argument that I, myself, believed:

quote:

The U.S. is also one of the leading manufacturing industries in the world, coming only second to China.

Basically, The US dollar is in no danger of being replaced. The only other country in the top-10 economies in the world that is being mentioned as going along with that stupid shite besides China is India.

Every other one of the biggest economies in the world will stay on the dollar standard over the ruble or yuan.

So quit spreading your fear mongering bullshite.

Leave the use of gifs to me, champ. The irony of you posting Rose's broke arse mom talking about "new money Molly Brown" is too precious. All "Bukaters" had at that point was their name, kinda like US Petrodollar status.

I don't know if you noticed, but we've been running up quite a debt lately. Manufacturing of US and raw materials are abundant, we're a wealthy country as long as the government and activists don't stifle it with regulation like it has been for the last 15 months. This is not the political reality right now and until Trump is hopefully back in office.

Thanks for that copy-pasta of nation's GDP's. I can Google. So by telling me that Russia, China and India, which combined have a population of half the globe are a potential challenge to US dollar status as a global currency and you're pissing on my leg while telling me it's raining.

Because of the economic warfare US/Europe has started, we'll have a shortage of raw materials and pay at premium, while China and India will use Russia's energy and resources to keep their manufacturing going (at discount).

But yeah, throw more ad hominem at me and tell me I'm just fear mongering.
