The entire fracas of this occurrence is unnecessary and unfortunate. This selected miscreant is outclassed and unworthy of the serious events facing our nation.

Every president averaged about 1 major gaffe a day. You’re bombarded by questions and stress 24/7. And there’s really no secret that the world needs Putin to get out of power. (Even if Ukraine pushes Russia out of Ukraine, we will be spending tons of money on Cold War-era level presence in Europe just to dissuade Putin to not try again.)
But the art of political speak is to say the loud part loud and the quiet part quiet.
Unfortunately, we also tend to punish politicians for having “weak spines,” so there’s constant pressure to up the rhetoric.

You have redeeming qualities. You seem to know who and what you are. This dude is an act with very little to offer, most of which is clearly drawn from any number of talking head political prime-time news shows and talk radio. You can tell those types right off. Usually, within the first minutes or posts of a debate they accuse you of watching CNN and loving whichever pundit they've been told is the devil this week.
ETA: It is also why I won't take anything he says seriously. It seems to irk him a bit. He's going to wear his thesaurus out before midnight.
