In 2014 they were intercepting cell phone signals and calling in artillery strikes on them. Now Ukraine is the one doing it to them. Losing that electronic warfare suite was a real eye opener. That's keys to the kingdom stuff and somebody just walked off and left it.
Can likely thank Uncle Sam for this.

Ukrainian forces have seized part of one of Russia's most advanced electronic warfare systems, which could reveal its military secrets, reports say. The Krasukha-4 command module was found abandoned on the outskirts of Kyiv partly damaged but otherwise intact, The Times of London reported.
Isn’t that one of the key pieces that Russia and China are supposedly using to counter the USA’s stealth technology?

Back in 2014, Ukraine was atleast smart enough to use WhatsApp or Viber which encrypts the messages and placed their phones in tin foil when they were not using them to keep them from being tracked. Russia is doing neither.

But that’s asking a tiger to change his stripes. The last 20+ years of corruption is Putin. The guy is a poor chief executive. A top notch crook though.

I find this analysis rather paltry and excessively broad based to take seriously.
If you don’t think the economic reality of control of rare minerals where some 90% of the earths total reside and the agricultural spectrum of those resources are not in play you are sadly sticking thy head in the sand.
Russia is playing long ball here and in the end will win it all against this foolish potato regime we have at the moment.
God help us in the soon to be recession we are about to face.

Didn’t “Potato” just negotiate a trade deal with non-Russia Europe to buy more American oil all while providing Ukraine with 500 stingers and javelins a day, while even still vowing to keep American troops out of Ukraine thus provoking World War III?
I get it. Biden leaves a lot to be desired*. But the current administration and NATO in general are playing this current geopolitical crisis as well as anyone possibly could.
Edit: *We need more oil production and to get inflation under control if you’re asking me what we seriously need right now that Biden is currently providing.

Question:
The Ukrainian territory is not a member of the NATO Alliance correct?
Why is NATO taking the lead in this fracas?
In past examples the UN who replaced the now defunct League of Nations which failed to prevent WW-2 has headed up world wide crises.
Where are they?

Someone thought it was a good idea to give the “Big 5” members of the World War II allies each a unilateral veto on the security council. This has prevented the SC from passing resolutions supporting war efforts because Russia has one of this unilateral vetos.
As such, the US/NATO has adopted the war-making functionality that UN Security Council has refused to implement.
This is the reason the US has become the “world police force,” and NATO has been a partner in this effort.
What distinguishes this fight is that NATO isn’t directly involved (for obvious reasons), but we are exercising our collective right to trade (in this case arms) with another sovereign country, in this case Ukraine.

UN will remain the thoroughly useless "governing" body it has always been. Not even a chance of that changing as long as Russia is a permanent member of the UN Security Council.

I agree with everything you just posted and would add that it defines the probability because of political agendas and differing ideological goals we are where we are.
This chess game is far from over and one wrong spark will set things in motion which can’t be reversed once a small obscure and overlooked event triggers events.
The Alphabets coupled with the political wing of the PENTAGON have been playing with fire in Eastern Europe for a long time now.
The Russians have been playing Chess far longer than we have in conducting foreign policy.
We are in a no win situation at the moment here as the European Nations will leave us hanging in the end, and make separate deals, in fact they already are.

I’m puzzled why you chose to focus on that minor bit of witticism with all of what’s taking place and what is to come?
It’s very msnbc/cnn of you something a ‘Don Lemon’ would focus upon ‘fluffy like seemingly vulgar in retrospect.
