Good thing we had Niger on our side back in 91. Could have been a whole other ballgame without them.
As you can see from the overlap of the two maps, there are realms of the world that just consistently refuse to take part in these coalitions.
But in any case, even among the nations that have not have officially sanctioned Russia, many have issued statements condemning (or softly condemning) the invasion.

What’s interesting is that the Russian Wagner Group has guys in Africa. Mali and Central African Republic that I know off the top of my head. Yes I know it’s all small potatoes compared to what’s going on Ukraine
Mali recently kicked the French military out of their country. For those that don’t know France has been heavily involved in the insurgency in that and other West Africa. Countries since 2013. Mali had a coup last year and the French said the new military government needed to hold elections. Instead they didn’t and told the French to gtfo.

Always wondered where he spent his rubles? Guess it’s on Russian penny candy now

This is a white people war. The Arabs and Africans know when to mind their own business

BTW that was a $12000 IWC Portofino he was using to check the time. Putin wears an IWC Mark XVII, more modestly priced at $5000. It seems to be a favorite brand of dictators.
Putin has always had one of the best watch collections of any world leader. Besides IWC he is also partial to Blancpain, Breguet, and Patek. Most interesting to me is he also has multiple Lange watches and at least one Jorne specifically a Chronometre Bleu. He either actually is a watch geek or has someone advising him who is.

I cant believe people are actually using that map as a way to act like Russia has support from the majority of the world right now and/or have more political good will than the west

Most of the world doesn’t care aside from the fact that a lot of people are gonna start ditching their T-72s and buy Javelins. The US defense industry is the real winner here.
Now if China starts going off the rails we’ll see where loyalties really lie.

frick you India. I hope we shut those frickers out too.
Posted on 3/26/22 at 4:47 pm to GeauxxxTigers23
The countries that dont care are countries who matter next to nothing on the global political scale
The only countries who do and havent sanctioned Russia are China and India, who havent done so for obvious reasons, and Israel and Turkey
Everyone else who matters has

Why should India give a shite about Russia invading Ukraine?
Posted on 3/26/22 at 4:48 pm to WestCoastAg
What exactly are you trying to argue with me?
Posted on 3/26/22 at 4:50 pm to GeauxxxTigers23
You were the one who responded to me saying most of the world doesnt care. I was saying almost all the countries who matter do

Americans can dream up shite that can kill you in horrifying ways and we have comparatively little in the way of bureaucratic red-tape compared to our enemies. Elon Musk was able to hook Ukraine up with a satellite uplink immediately upon request.
You would think these strongmen authoritarian types would learn to stop doing this stuff. Especially after 1991.

I don't understand why WCA thinks we waged some master foreign policy class. You guys have to try to step away from corporate media for a second and understand that a substantial part of the world sees the neocons as out of control petulant children. Saudi and UAE won't take Biden's calls. China is not going to do anything to Russia and the sanctions are likely just going to encourage these countries to get away from the west because your sh-- can be seized at their whim. OK, it's a game of chicken right now to see if the west can destroy Russia's economy before Russia gets what they want in Ukraine -- I'll give you that. The regime change approach doesn't seem to be working, though. And the BRICS guys were chilling in Moscow a few days ago.
