The leadership of the DPR has reportedly arrived in Mariupol, presumably to celebrate the capture of the city.

The Azov Battalion will be happy to know this. I am sure they will have quite the surprise cocktail party waiting for them.

So the Russians now say that Soros was the "main promoter of the war in Ukraine?" Gee, from where I sit it clearly appears that the main supporter is Putin, who actually ordered the war.

What if I told you Putin *and* Soros are huge pieces of authoritarian statist shite that need to be executed with a quickness?

Look,Biden has a lot he can be criticized for, but I wish y'all would get straight what you're criticizing him about. One day he's dragging us into WWII with Russia, the next day he's not doing enough to help the brave Ukrainians.

So serious question....lets say the events of last couple of days continues and ukraine continues to kick arse.....where do they stop? how far does the offensive go? what is russias reaction if say they are marching towards moscow?

There has been absolutely no indication that Ukraine has ever had any intention of invading Russia.

Of course we don't know anything for sure, but I would assume that Ukraine would declare victory if the Russians left their country.

Ukraine will annex Belarus as north Ukraine since it was part of the territory controlled by the Kyivian Rus centuries ago. If Putin can pull up random territory claims from the past, why can't Ukraine do the same thing? (sarcasm alert)

You must not be familiar with TBoy and his love of authoritarians as long as he agrees with them.

Look at the public opinion polls around this.

People think Biden has been too weak on Russia, but you ask people about specific actions against Russia and they dont think we should do more than we have.

Should we have a no fly zone?

A lot of people answer yes.

Should we send in troops?

Most of those same people say no, despite the former requiring the latter.

A no fly zone does not require troops on the ground. Not advocating for one, but to say you need troops on the ground to enforce one is simply not correct.

I never said troops on the ground.

I assume pilots count as troops.

A no fly zone means directly engaging the Russian military and killing them.

When you ask people about "sending in troops" they think troops on the ground. Not pilots.

Hence the two different responses.

Fair.

Ok. Ill give you that as a bad example but the general point remains true. People want the US to be tougher, somehow, but dont want to do more than we have.

No disagreement here. Was just pointing out why you have the two different responses from your average civilian when it comes to "no fly zone" and "send in the troops".

12 Rosgvardia officers from Krasnodar refused order to go to Ukraine and were fired, human rights lawyer Pavel Chikov says. The officers said the order was illegal as their official duties were limited to Russian territory. They are suing their station for wrongful termination

as crazy as it may seem, it looks like people on this website will simply take an anti biden stance no matter the topic, no matter the context, and no matter what bidens stance is. Who would have ever guessed
