Well, that's an improvement considering they were waiting for them to use the humanitarian corridor out of the city only to attack the evac convoys after they were under way.

Thanks to normal people posting, 4 posts in a row about the war!!
Looks like this war is turning into a meat grinder. Hopefully it will end soon. I think it may expand further unfortunately. The area has been quite fluid since world war 2. Hopefully it will stabilize but with outside countries constantly in their business I don’t think it is possible.

Russians killed 56 people at nursing home in Kreminna, Luhansk oblast, also kidnapping 15 survivors on March 11. “They just put the tank in front of the house and started firing,” authorities said.

I'm going to go the Geauxxx route on this one.....why? What do the Russians have to gain by doing this? That doesn't make sense.

It didn't make sense for that tank to go out of its way run over the old man in his car at the start of the war but the tank did it anyway.

I'd love to see the actual quote or Ukrainian news coverage of this one:

@sentdefender
quote:

The Deputy Mayor of the Ukrainian City of Dnipro has Officially Stated that any Russian Backed Chechen Forces also know as “Kadyrovites” that are Killed in the Region will be Sewn-Up and Buried in Pigskins by Local Meat Processing Plants.

I say to hell with wasting those skins......fry em up!

Tanks don't kill people, tank operators do.

Ten million people -- more than a quarter of the population -- have now fled their homes in Ukraine due to Russia's "devastating" war, the United Nations refugees chief said Sunday

BTW the 10m figure includes internally displaced people and is not a pure refugee count.

Russia may have crossed a few lines in the last couple weeks. Nursing homes, Maternity wards, housing blocks with apartment buildings targeted. Its getting harder to see them being allowed back after this…

Let's follow and see if this one gets picked up by the main reporting channels.

@sentdefender
quote:

The Russian 331st Guards Airborne Regiment of the 98th Guard Airborne Division is Claimed to have been almost Completely wiped out by Ukrainian Forces near the Capital of Kyiv, the Unit consisted of around 2000 Airborne Soldiers alongside over 200 Armored Fighting Vehicles.

quote:

The only Survivors of the Battle are reported to be 1 Severely Wounded Airborne Soldier who is Currently under Ukrainian Medical Care as well as up to 100 Russian Airborne POWs that has been Captured over the last few days during the Fighting.

Key Takeaways:

We now assess that the initial Russian campaign to seize Ukraine’s capital and major cities and force regime change has failed;

Russian forces continue efforts to restore momentum to this culminated campaign, but those efforts will likely also fail;

Russian troops will continue trying to advance to within effective artillery range of the center of Kyiv, but prospects for their success are unclear;

The war will likely descend into a phase of bloody stalemate that could last for weeks or months;
Russia will expand efforts to bombard Ukrainian civilians in order to break Ukrainians’ will to continue fighting (at which the Russians will likely fail);

The most dangerous current Russian advance is from Kherson north toward Kryvyi Rih in an effort to isolate Zaporizhiya and Dnipro from the west. Russian forces are unlikely to be able to surround or take Kryvyi Rih in the coming days, and may not be able to do so at all without massing much larger forces for the effort than they now have available on that axis;

The Russians appear to have abandoned plans to attack Odesa at least in the near term.

Lots of folks reporting this, it is unthinkable that at the beginning of this 3 weeks ago Russia would be this incompetent, this demoralized and would have lost 10k+ in this time period. Ukies are Wolverining the shite outta Russia.

We have no clue what's happening because the media is quick to create myths like the "Ghost of Kiev" and such.

We’ve just watched where 30% of the country demanded that the ones that don’t comply get fired from their jobs. Thank God for the Supreme Court and our Constitution. I don’t think we’re as far from it as you wish.

Supreme Court left the healthcare worker mandate. They’re not much better than any other branch of govt.
