The Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped the columns of equipment of the 437th Training Regiment and the battalion-tactical group of the 26th Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the Russian Army in Kharkiv region.

“Columns of equipment of the new 437th Training Regiment and the battalion-tactical group of the 26th Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the Russian Armed Forces were moving towards Kamyanka, Kharkiv region. However, the enemy was skillfully stopped by our soldiers," Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny posted on Facebook.

As reported, the total combat losses of the enemy from February 24 to March 17 are about as follows: 14,000 people, 444 tanks; 1,435 armored combat vehicles, 201 artillery systems, 43 air defense units, 86 aircraft, 108 helicopters, and more.

This is from Ukraine s MoD so take that into consideration. I assume they threw the training cadre into the fight, not raw recruits, but who knows. Either way, if accurate it points out how desperate Russia is for manpower.

China could not give two fricks about Ukraine. In fact they’re probably giddy as hell watching the Russian army get chewed up and their economy ostracized by the west and becoming more dependent on them.

The only thing that probably worries them is the performance of Russian designed aircraft that they’ve been buying and copying for generations

China doesn't give even one frick about Ukraine or anyone else but China.

In an alternate universe where Zelensky flees to Poland on Day one, the West never galvanizes, and Russia steamrolls Ukraine in a week - China would be "all in" on Russia. Now they need to sit back and read the tea leaves a little bit before making a pro-China move.

But they do have to pay Russia's car note and insurance.

There is no way this is accurate.

I would have assumed that Russia would’ve crippled Ukraine’s command and control with these techniques at the outset of the war. Obviously that didn’t happen.

On another interesting flight path note, Lavrov's (foreign minister) plane flew halfway to China, turned around in midair and flew back to Moscow.

I stick the rule of three. Divide Ukraine's claims by three. Multiple the losses that Russia admits to by three. Then you will have a more accurate number.

Unless something has changed in last couple days, Russia has only formally stated 500 deaths… and that was several days ago.

Apparently Russia has seen fit to grace the poliboard with an actual propagandist. A little mind boggling that they consider them influential enough to devote the resources, but Russian decision making has been a little off lately.

I'd imagine interest is waning in comparatively rich nations like India and Turkey that have European and American alternatives to choose from. But Russian/Soviet equipment will always have a place for nations who cannot afford to buy from the EU nations, Korea, the US, etc. Their stuff works great for attacking religiously-undesirable civilians and poorly armed rebels, for instance.

Psaki just snaps on a reporter who demands that she recognize that all the weapons they gave to the Ukrainians are offensive and not defensive in nature.

These questions are so farking stupid.

Is a handgun an offensive weapon or a defensive weapon? If you only use it to defend yourself from an attack, it is only a defensive weapon. If you use it to attack someone in an unprovoked attack, it is an offensive weapon.

Weapons are neither offensive or defensive by inherent character. The circumstances of their use is all that matters.

Ukraine is defending their country from an actual armed invasion. All weapons used in the defense of Ukraine are used as defensive weapons.

I would believe absolutely nothing the Ukraine MoD is telling you.
