Does Belarus have a common defense agreement with Russia? If not, they could attack out of Poland and force the Belarus military to shift their attention away from Ukraine. I do like the fact of us just moving forces to a forward position rather than sending plane loads of soldiers to Europe.

There have been military trainers in the Ukraine pretty constantly until a few weeks ago. They were all ordered out but who knows. As another poster said I'm sure we have somebody there, whether actively engaged or in a liason role.
