That’s impossible. Comrade Barronsky has posted at least 25 times that Ukraines’s drone swarm only damaged 4 old, antiquated bombers.

He wouldn’t lie about that, would he?

Shocking that the ISW who is run by Victoria Nuland and the Kagan Family would use the Ukrainian Government Twitter page with 9k followers and NAFO troll accounts as sources

"Official page of the Center for Countering Disinformation, a working body of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine."

No, certainly not. I did not vote for any of them. I'm pretty sure I've never voted for any Democrat except in local NOLA elections where it was two Democrats running against each other.

Alas, what I long for is another Ronald Reagan, for whom I was excited to vote, by far the best U.S. president of my life, the man who called the U.S.S.R. an "evil empire", and the man who was, more than any other individual, responsible for the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Warsaw Pact, and the U.S.S.R.

Russian cluster munition strike kills three, injures 16 in Sumy

June 3, 2025, 02:45 AM

A Russian strike on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy killed at least three people and injured 16 others on the morning of June 3, according to the State Emergency Service (SES) and local authorities.

The attack reportedly targeted vehicles in the city center and struck multiple residential and civilian areas. Among the injured is a 17-year-old. Some victims are in serious condition, Sumy Oblast Military Administration (OMA) reported.

Preliminary reports suggest Russia used a Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), a modernized version of the Smerch system, likely armed with cluster munitions. These are particularly lethal against personnel and infrastructure and can reach targets up to 120 kilometers away — or up to 200 kilometers with newer missiles.

House Speaker Mike Johnson backs efforts to sanction Russia ‘as strongly as we can’

By Victor Nava
Published June 2, 2025, 8:47 p.m. ET

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) threw his support behind renewed congressional efforts to sanction the Kremlin over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s brutal war against Ukraine.

“There’s many members of Congress that want us to sanction Russia as strongly as we can,” Johnson told reporters on Monday. “And I’m an advocate of that.”

The House speaker’s support for legislation punishing the Russian regime comes amid a bipartisan push in the Senate to impose “bone-breaking sanctions” on Russia.

Newsflash, Ukros were integral part of the USSR and had many leaders from Ukraine in the politburo.

Ah, a boomer who is still pretend fighting a state that collapsed decades ago inside their own mind. Explains why you're anti-free speech, I guess.

And the count of destroyed bombers per this update is 11. But they have the total fleet being significantly smaller than other outlets at 80 bombers.

ETA2

Literally right before the popped up I had this come across my screen from one of the accounts I follow that tends to be a little bit more pro Ukrainian

Destroying the bridge at this point will be a propaganda win only. The window where it would significantly impact Russian logistics has closed.

More info

quote:

The Security Service of Ukraine has struck the Crimean Bridge for the third time — this time underwater.

The operation lasted several months. SBU agents planted explosives on the bridge's supports, and on June 3, the first explosive device was detonated without any civilian casualties.

The underwater bases of the supports were damaged at the seabed level — aided by 1,100 kg of explosives. As a result, the bridge is now in a critical condition. SBU Chief Vasyl Maliuk personally oversaw and coordinated the planning of the operation.

Could be the big Toluka ...

TLK-1000:
The largest variant, 4-12 meters long, with a range of 2000 km and a payload capacity of up to 5000 kg

EDIT= could also have been the medium Toluka (TLK-400) - payload 500kg , 1200 km range

Let's read between the lines a little here -

First, we know the Ukrainians gave the US advance notice of the drone attack on the Russian airfields, yet Trump seems to have been taken by surprise by this action. Was he not told or did he not listen?

Secondly, the official early response notably does not attempt to blame Zelenskyy.

Finally, when directly asked about the Graham - Blumenthal sanctions bill, Trump was prepared with a firm, "I don't know, I'll have to look at it."

For a bill of this importance that has been printed, circulated and signed by 81 US Senators for a few weeks now, that comment tells us all we need to know about what Trump is going to do. The White House will not fight this in the Senate and now, from Johnson's statement, we can see that he won't fight it in the House either.

This gives TACO his excuse for not following Putin's demands on killing this bill. Against a supermajority, it will be, 'Vlad, it is out of my hands'.

Don't think for a second that the majority of GOP Congress members don't see it like this as well. The US defense contractors are calling them every day about what Trump's positions are doing to them. And the oil companies are not happy with the insecurity, low prices and cheap Russian oil on the Asian markets. Especially the Saudis, who have Trump's undivided attention.

Trump won't be able to front-run this bill but he can point to it as 'his sanctions' to fend off later criticism. Weaning the EU off any further Russian crude was going to happen anyway and it's not like there aren't other sources. As far as the Indians and Chinese, well just frick them. Sleep with dogs...
