When I worked in Moscow on the first work day after I moved out of the National Hotel into my own apartment, I came home from work to find a hand-written sign taped to the elevator door that said, in Russian, of course, "Elevator not working."
My apartment was on the 12th floor and I was wearing a heavy backpack and carrying a laptop in a case. The last thing I wanted to do was climb up 12 flights of stairs in my suit and tie.
So, I walked down one flight to see if I could find the building super to see how long the elevator was going to be out of commission.
I found him sitting with his feet propped up on a desk reading the Russian edition of Playboy magazine with a cigarette dangling in his lips.
So in my best Russian I asked him, "Pachemo lyft ne robotna?" ("Why is the elevator not working?")
He didn't look up at me for even a second and simply said, "Because this is Russia."
That's when I knew I was now going to have to walk up 13 flights of stairs...

I guess I missed the part where Russia defeated any army? I mean, in the past 37 months it has lost about 10% of Ukraine. Still hasn't captured a provincial capitol. Still doesn't have air superiority. Still cant maneuver. Still can't seal off Ukraine's access fo the sea. All the while its Black Sea fleet sits on the bottom.
Is that what you call defeating NATO

Zelensky better hatch some kind of escape plan for if Ukraine is defeated militarily the Russians will kill him.

I guess I missed the part where NATO is in Crimea. Can you imagine giving $300 Billion worth of aid,equipment,planning,intelligence,weapon systems, and had fire control but you could not even gain any territory in the "Big Counter Offensive" and have been losing Territory ever since. All this against a Gas Station country with no economy and no manufacturing capacity according to the NAFO Trolls. We literally just threw in the Towel against the Houthis after losing 20 plus MQ-9 Reapers and 2 F18s along with a F35 almost getting taken down by the Houthis Spent 1 billion and we threw in the towel. I am actually afraid what would happen if we went up against a peer opponent

If Russia keeps “beating” Ukraine this bad they will have to build a fourth and a fifth army. They have already lost two.
