Here is where we stand.
Russia says, we keep the territory we have, no nato for ukraine, and no peacekeeping force at the border (which would be nato under another name), and it ends.
This is realistic, these are things they ALREADY have.
ukraine makes unrealistic demands and Russia says fine, we will see you after the summer and starts to pound the snot out of them.
Its pretty simple, all the noise about "playing" Trump, and the rest of it is just that, rhetoric.
At this point we the US cant stop the end result, other than to escalate it....to the same end result. If zelensky wants it to play out, let him do it, without our help.
By the way, Merz now says they will not give long range missiles to ukraine, they will help them "develop" them.....wonder who called him and told him to shut his arse up?

So you are correct, they didn’t survey the entire country, but they were open about it.
They surveyed the group of people Lavrov is attempting to use to justify taking more territory. Simple as that.

This is 100% false. Russia wants more territory than what they have now. That has been widely reported.
They also want the Ukraine military downsized, their government removed and Ukraine to become like Belarus.

This is what I mean by reduced Ukrainian strike effectiveness. This drone strikes on the external facade of an industrial facility of this size will have little to no impact on day to day operations let alone have an impact on the war effort.
Let me also remind you that this is the absolute best result we’ve seen from the last 4 or so days of intense Ukrainian drone strikes into the Moscow region.
Meanwhile Ukrainian industry has been eviscerated by Geran strikes consisting of 10+ drones as well as Iskanders and cruise missiles.
Here is an example of a Ukrainian facility that was wiped out yesterday in Vasyshcheve, Kharkiv Oblast by Russian drones.

Its propaganda because its an obvious point in a skewed survey. Its like asking people in Philadelphia who they like more, the Eagles or Cowboys, and expecting to learn anything from it.
You actually made his point, except even better is asking Eagles fans in the stadium in Philadelphia who they prefer, the visiting team or the Eagles.

Zelenskyy arrives in Berlin -
Merz is clearly establishing a permanent arms production capacity in Ukraine. This is more palatable to German voters as the Ukrainians will be making their own weapons. Much better for the Ukrainians as well as they don't have to fight against arms production being outside of their control.
This agreement seems to have replaced the deliveries of the Taurus cruise missle for now. But this will be replaced by missiles with five times the range, all made in Ukraine. We will just have to wait a bit. But the assholes now know they are coming because there will be a Ukrainian finger on both the delivery and the trigger.
Oh, and one final thing - it's all being paid for by the Russians.

quote:
Chancellor Merz in reference to military assistance for Ukraine:
"I will not disclose any details, but what I can tell is that Germany will extend its commitment in this field. Additionally, I inform something new":
- Germany will sign a memorandum which will include the financing of an Ukrainian long-range weapon program. This also includes joint-production. It will be a new corner stone for a military-industrial cooperation between Germany and Ukraine.
- The financing will come also from interests of frozen Russian assets, which are around $50 billion. Additionally, German budget will also be used. It is necessary to ensure a maximum in efficiency.
- Germany will [also] finance a substantial portion of the Starlink coverage
quote:
The decision to launch a joint-production military programm between Germany and Ukraine is exactly the big hammer which is needed. It throws the German economy on the scale in the war which Russia started.
It will also ensure that Ukraine will be able to produce long-range weapons without the need to tediously request from the West replenishment. No more piece-meal deliveries, but continues production which can be scaled based on the necessities on the ground.
The question how long it will take, is valid, but the last three years have proven that if there is a will, then there is a way, as we have seen with the massively increased production capacities which Rheinmetall or Diehl Defense have shown. And this is the way to go forward.

John you are correct and its seen in the numbers. While Russia degrades ukraine's capability to produce, they have significantly increased their own.
Look at the blows traded in the last week, even the propaganda machines cant show much success of ukraine's "assault" on Moscow, while the world is horrified by the magnitude of the last three days of russian strikes across ukraine.
It will only get worse as time goes on. Yet zelensky refuses to throw in the towel.
The "good reason"....sovereignty, freedom, democracy.
The real reason....billions in stolen aid by all sides.
It will end when the blackrocks of the world have formulated their plan to thief the hundreds of billions in rebuilding ukraine.

“Trump says a lot of things...” — Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov responds to Trump’s latest social media outbursts, in which he accuses Putin of “playing with fire.”
Moscow believes Trump is not being properly informed about the realities of the conflict in Ukraine, particularly regarding Kiev’s repeated large-scale drone attacks on peaceful Russian cities.

Some guy who lives in Oregon I think. Been covering the War since the beginning. Does a good job with the updated maps. Much better than Deepstate UA Maps who are like 3 weeks behind ever since the Ukraine Military got involved

Cypher was my Sunday School teacher in fifth grade.
But he did make a good point. The poll was taken from the population who Russia wants to subjugate, right?

Full Statement from Vladimir Medinsky: Denies Zelensky’s Claim About Call from Ukraine’s Defense Minister
?“I read a report being circulated by global news agencies, claiming that I received a call from Rustem Umerov regarding the memorandum that, supposedly, we [Russia] have still not prepared. The suggestion was that the Russians are dragging their feet.
??Let me clarify. That’s almost exactly what happened — except the opposite.
??It was I who called Mr. Umerov today. I proposed a specific date and location for an exchange of memorandums. At that same meeting, we are prepared to begin substantial, in-depth discussions on every point of the proposed comprehensive ceasefire agreement.
??The Ukrainian side said they needed to consult internally. Apparently, those consultations are taking time. We are now waiting for their confirmation and are ready to meet, on the date we proposed — in the coming days — to begin direct talks.
This is in the interest of achieving long-term peace and saving human lives.”
