Oh dear, more inconvenient facts....

Andriy Portnov, a former top official in ex-President Viktor Yanukovych's administration, visited Ukraine just days before he was shot dead in Madrid on May 21, the news outlet Ukrainska Pravda reported on May 23, citing unnamed sources.

According to three interlocutors with knowledge of Portnov's movements — including sources in law enforcement and his inner circle — he was in Ukraine on May 17-18 and reportedly met with top law enforcement officials.

Portnov, a lawyer and longtime political operative, was shot at least five times outside the American School in Madrid. Two or three individuals are believed to have taken part in the killing.

Sounds like Ukrianians killed him. He was still a player a not some exiled Yanukovich.

Amazing logic. So the Ukrainians - who in your mind wanted to kill him - didn't kill him when he was in Ukraine and meeting with law enforcement officials. They waited until he returned to Spain, an ally and NATO member, and organized and sent a team to kill him there.

Here's some non-Russian logic, let's try it out - He went to Ukraine to meet with law enforcement officials in order to negotiate the terms of his surrender and detainment and the treatment of his family. He obviously had a lot of information the Ukrainian law enforcement officials wanted and was using this with which to bargain. Of course this would require testifying in a Ukrainian court against the Russian gangsters he had worked with for many years. Something he can't do now that he's dead.

So in your way of thinking, that "Sounds like Ukrianians killed him"?

But JB was on duty cranking out his “10 second” updates glorifying Russia.

If true, then it's one more reason for the US to thank Ukraine for exposing russia's military capabilities so that we can improve our BMDS. THAAD may already handle it - maybe.

Actually, I'm not sure. Back in the mid 1970's a high school classmate did a stint in the USN before going back to college. He was in fire control for the USS Albany. In missile target practice they would fired at drone boats traveling above 70 MPH and have to miss by so many meters. For shits and giggles sometimes they would hit the drone on purpose (a small boat with several high horsepower outboard motors) and call it an oops.

JB bragged about Russia building an air to air nuke missile which the USSR claimed it had and the US had in 1958.

I don't think that Russia gives two craps one way or the other but also realize that they cannot hit drone boats like the US could in the 1970's.
