Volodymyr Zelenskyy
@ZelenskyyUa
London. A meaningful and warm meeting with Prime Minister
@Keir_Starmer
.
During our talks, we discussed the challenges facing Ukraine and all of Europe, coordination with partners, concrete steps to strengthen Ukraine’s position, and ending the war with a just peace, along with robust security guarantees.
A principled statement of support from the Prime Minister and an important decision: today, in our presence, Ukraine and the United Kingdom signed a Loan Agreement. This loan will enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities and will be repaid using revenues from frozen Russian assets. The funds will be directed toward weapons production in Ukraine. This is true justice – the one who started the war must be the one to pay.
I thank the people and government of the United Kingdom for their tremendous support from the very beginning of this war. We are happy to have such strategic partners and to share the same vision of what a secure future should look like for all.

Russia is using NORKs to fight for them.
The only way to really turn this around is for Ukraine to have significant air power to the point of air superiority. The only way to improve the glacial speed for that being viable is for Ukraine to hire experienced Western pilots and maintenance crews until they have their own people up to speed.

A slice of Transcarpathia to Hungary, and part of Bukovina and Odessa to Romania/Moldova.
This would make Ukraine much more homogenous, and allow these people to live with their ethnic countrymen.
I don’t think thats a good idea and I would be surprised if they consider anything like that, even theoretically
By the 1980s the Russians had gotten tired of subsidizing what they saw as resentful minorities. They still feel that way.
The Dniepr is a good physical border, but if the Russian do that, I assume they’d take Odessa too. It’s the city of Catherine and it’s where the war started.

Ukraine had a formidable air force when Russia invaded. What happened to it?
Seems like only a few months ago we were told the F16's were finally going to change the tide of the war in Ukraine's favor. What happened to them?

Yet this is not true of Putin, who has a bunch of corpses directly linked to him?

We should know by now that counting on our adversaries for resources, goods, or energy is not the best way to go.

They have fought for over three years. I’ve got to believe they figured out by now how to get what they need. I believe job 1 right now is soldiers not weapons.

The US actually has more than enough rare earth minerals. This was never really about a minerals deal.

You are correct about the lack of manpower. What's the plan for that since there aren't many men left? How do you conjure men from thin air?
Not a video game.

Wrong, it was expected to be overwhelmed and gone in a few days. It was all old Soviet stuff

Lou Dobbs: Norwegian Oil and Shipping Company Announces Immediate Halt as Fuel Provider to U.S. Forces and Ships in Norway Ports
Haltbakk Bunkers, one of Norway’s largest marine fuel suppliers, has officially announced it will stop providing fuel to American military forces and vessels in Norwegian ports.
This fuel boycott came directly in response to a high-profile clash between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The company wrote:
“We have today been witnesses to the biggest shitshow ever presented “live on tv” by the current American president and his vice president.
Huge credit to the president of Ukraine restraining himself and for keeping calm even though USA put on a backstabbing tv show. It made us sick. Short and sweet. As a result, we have decided to immediate STOP as fuel provider to American forces in Norway and their ships calling Norwegian ports.
“No Fuel to Americans!”
We encourage all Norwegians and Europeans to follow our example. SLAVA UKRAINA”
The owner revealed the company supplied roughly 3 million liters of fuel to U.S. forces in 2024 – a revenue loss Haltbakk is willing to bear as “moral support” for Ukraine.

Why do you keep posting that? Are we supposed to think you are smart because you are aware that it’s not a video game?
We all realize it’s a real war, and men, women and children are dying. Did you just figure that out?

So air support isnt important in a war? Then why are they begging for US planes? If they didnt expect to have an air force, why do they want one now?
And why did they wait 3 years to beg for help?
They sure dont seem very sure about anything at this point, other than the fact they are getting their arses kicked.
