The UK has less than 50 tanks that run. Good luck.

Britain does not possess an expeditionary military anymore. From a power projection perspective, the UK is the weakest it has ever been. I'm not sure what Zelensky is hoping for from the UK.
Europe cannot save Ukraine.
At this point, Russia has no reason to end its invasion of Ukraine. It could take years to capitulate Ukraine at the pace they are going, but it will inevitably happen.
Trump is 100% right when he says, You have no cards; we are the only ones that can give you leverage. Our leverage doesn't come with direct security guarantees; you have to accept that fact if you want the war to end.

Popular vote totals show Trump got 49.9% of the popular vote, Harris got 48.3%.
People need to understand the dynamics of these elections.
The Democrats could have nominated a ham sandwich to run against Trump and got 45% of the popular vote. If the bread was toasted 46%
The fight to win the popular is over five per cent of the vote. The fight to win swing states is way less than that.
Kamala did terrible versus Trump, little what she said resonated with her people and thus a smaller turnout. With Trump it was just the opposite.

He thinks he can shame Trump into bending to the will of the EU.
He has seriously misjudged his position.
No one in Europe has the equipment or cash to send to Ukraine. They just like to have meetings and think they're relevant.
Europe needs to wake up and quit taking jabs at the US. They only reason they exist is because we've bankrolled the continent for over 75 years.
Keep talking shite and we will exit NATO and kick the UN out of NYC.

I disagree here. The longer the war goes the more it costs Russia in men, material, gold, and economically. It’s in their best interest to end things sooner than later.
Russia is going to win. What that win looks like, we don’t know yet; but the longer it goes the more it’s going to cost.

This is a rare chance to redraw the border into something more defensible . It’s also a chance to reabsorb the largest population of ethnic Russians outside of Russia. Cost of rebuilding aside, this is an economically productive region with valuable natural resources. There are a lot of reasons to pay the continued price of war and see this to the end.
They show no sign of stress or pressure either, and their demands have also increased over time.

US funding and military aid keep him in power, he loses that, and the oligarchs will try and overthrow him

My two cents, Zelenskyy screwed the pooch for sure. Just as I stated before this economic agreement is in of itself a security guarantee. Sure there were past US companies with major concessions in Ukraine. The big ones for sure were Exxon and Chevron before the 2014 invasion by Russia. Chevron lost its offshore and Crimea rights. Shell lost its rights in the Donbas, Exxon dropped its deal due instability.
The big difference is that these were direct with Ukraine and not via the US Government.
Zelenskyy took the bait and phucked up bigtime. He should have just shut up or said Thank You America for partnering with us.
The onus would have been on Russia to actually make a deal now that is damaged.

Where would you redraw the borders? Along the Polish border?

I knew posting a Tucker article would get you to post. 2 weeks ago you were parroting what a great leader he was. Sucks to be an old arse out of touch boomer. Please tell us what all of your super secret business contacts feel.
Give Ukraine tanks they said. All that surplus equipment. No wait the GLSDB is released. Russia is fricked now. They got F-16s that will get them to Moscow. Bro your words don’t mean shite.

And why Z should resign.
All eyes are now on Zelensky. What is he going to do? What is Ukrsine going to do.
Meanwhile, no one knows if Russia has agreed to anything.

The Brits are going to bankroll him for another 2.6 billion.
To what end?
Ukraine is not beating back Russia without IS weaponry and troops. Keep throwing money at a lost cause.

I buy that, people will rally around their guy.
It’s been that way forever.
People always rally......around the guy who kidnaps their children and sends them to the their death so the guy can enrich himself.....then they hang the guy.
cargo pants had 16% popularity before he held the meeting and verified he is willing to kill every ukranian male 25 and older to keep his power.
The only question remains, will others kill him or his own people.

Approximately 40% of ukraine is without power or water......before Russia attacks tonight, knowing the US cut off all aid to continue to repair the grid.........but cargo pants popularity is increasing

Lunatic Keith (formerly known as Leon) and the Bagdad Bob of Kiev (cypher) are holding down the fort today and.pushing that propaganda.
If we had the type of government (globalist authoritarian EU and GB) both of you leftists support you would be arrested and thrown in jail. Although I am praying for reeducation camps for extremists like you. You should go seek asylum in GB or the EU before it is too late.
You remind me of that old hard leftist Rex that use to post on the PB. Rex and his old mutt Maggie. He was a hard left lunatic also.
Pathetic leftists.

UK to provide $2.8 billion loan to Ukraine backed by frozen Russian assets
by Dmytro Basmat March 1, 2025 10:34 PM
The United Kingdom signed an agreement with Kyiv on March 1 to provide Ukraine with a loan worth 2.26 billion pounds ($2.84 billion) backed by frozen Russian assets.
The loan, which is part of the Group of Seven's (G7) Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) credit initiative, was signed amid President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to London to meet with U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"The United Kingdom continues to stand in defense of Ukraine. Today's agreement, which contributes to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, confirms this," Ukraine's Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko said in a statement.
The loan will go towards "purchasing defense equipment according to Ukraine's needs," the Finance Ministry said.
In October 2024, G7 countries came to an agreement that pledged to provide Ukraine with almost $50 billion loan.

Everybody knows those loans will never be repaid. Are the Ukrainians supposed to fight off the Russians by throwing British banknotes at them? Where will they get actual weapons from now?
