There has been more forwards than backwards recently. Have you not been keeping up?

Ah yes they were just rescinding the “memo.” Of course. Can’t be PR to counterbalance the horrible optics and clusterfrick of this roll out that has boomers freaking out about their social security. At the end of the day, It doesn’t really matter because military assistance isn’t going to be touched by this. I hope they freeze DEI shite. It has no bearing on this war that Trump has not made one move to get out of yet despite all your “day 1” predictions.

Update on russian oil refineries, with dates of damage. Many have been hit multiple times, as per dates.

Every single night now. Russian air defense is helpless to prevent this. Is anyone giving Putin this data?

While this has no effect on crude oil exports, it certainly impacts refined products exports and internal availability, with plowing and planting season coming soon.

Russia has been able to rebuild and even expand its battered invasion force by tapping into a population that is four times larger than Ukraine’s, carrying out its first draft since World War II and enlisting felons and debtors. The government of Russia’s autocratic president, Vladimir V. Putin, is paying increasing bounties to new recruits, and recently began pressing people accused of crimes to enlist in exchange for dismissing charges.

The ISW reports on here make it seem like the Russians, in terms of land acquisition, have been making progress...slowly...but progress none the less. It didn't seem your original post meant that.

Lately the ISW indicate marginal advances in several areas by the Russians and marginal advances in fewer areas by the Ukes.

But there was a time several months ago when the Ukes made major advances that were way greater than what the Russians have been doing lately.

I am under no illusions that Ukraine has been gaining of late, but you can’t dismiss the fact that there have been times when they made some large gains.

Are you referring to when they went into Russia and captured a bunch of trees, then lost the majority of it end of 2024.

Aight. What’s the next major offensive? Any trees getting lonely somewhere on the border

Probably not, but then I don’t remember anyone predicting Ukraine would capture thousands of acres of Russia.

Maybe it was inconsequential, but Russia had to send thousands of soldiers there and get 10,000 or so N Koreans to help em out.

And they still haven’t expelled Ukraine. Who would have predicted that the mighty Russian Army couldn’t push Ukraine out of the Motherland in five months?

If Russia's army is in the top ten, it's not even close to 2nd place.

As far as it's Navy, new ships should have glass bottoms so they can see the Russian Navy.
