Incorrect. Pointing out the absurdity of showing Russia boats colliding when our F35 just crashed is not cheering against America. It is Pointing out how dumb you NAFO trolls are

The same dude wowed about bread he found in Russia that can be found in any WalMart in the USA. The same dude who was wowed by $100 worth of groceries, enough to feed an adult in the US for a week but all that a family of 4 in Russia can afford for a month, IF they get paid within a reasonable amount of time, not delayed for a month which is common for hourly workers there.

Do you expect the pace of the Russian advance to increase now that they appear to have broken the Ukrainian lines?

The famine spread across the farm belt and Ukraine wasn’t actually the worst affected region. It was a disaster and a tragedy, but the famine was the result of Soviet ineptitude, and it wasn’t a willful attempt to punish anyone.

Is that what they teach Russian school children.

Not dramatically, but there will come a point where there's some serious rupture and the Russians actually get moving

Any idea of what mechanized units they have available to exploit the breakthrough? Or do you think it will be a slower advance than mechanized would be?

Ukrainian media outlets begging for donations

quote:

Major Ukrainian media outlets are asking for donations following the Trump administration’s 90-day foreign aid pause since many of them are funded by the US government.

Ukrainian-Canadian professor and researcher Ivan Katchanovski noted on X that the Ukrainian online newspaper Strana.ua reported that two outlets — Hromadske and Bihus.Info — acknowledged in their fundraising pitches that they lost US funding

Yesterday, American journalist Tucker Carlson said that the Biden administration 'tried to kill Putin.'

This was proposed by former US Secretary of State Blinken.

A day passed.
Everyone is silent.
Neither Biden nor Blinken denied the statements.

Because it's the absolute dumbest Russian propaganda that Tucker has pushed. The Biden administration constantly refused to do anything that might possibly upset Putin, because they were terrified that he might use a nuke. The idea of an assassination attempt is hilarious -- people should actually try to imagine Biden giving the go-ahead to take out Putin, because the idea is good for a laugh.

INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE
29 January 2021

On 8 January 2025, Ukrainian uncrewed aerial systems reportedly struck Kristall oil depot, Russia, 8km from the Engels-2 Airbase. The strike caused large scale fires within the petroleum, oil and lubricant (POL) storage area of the depot, reportedly taking several days to extinguish.

A further strike was also reportedly conducted on the night of 14 January 2025, once again targeting Kristall oil depot, reigniting the fire and causing further infrastructure damage to the site. Analysis of imagery from 21 January 2025 highlights 4 assessed destroyed POL tanks and 10 assessed damaged POL tanks.

The repeated strikes indicate an increased Ukrainian ability to target Russian infrastructure.

Rubio issues humanitarian waiver for Trump's foreign aid freeze, WP reports

by Boldizsar Gyori January 29, 2025 11:20 AM

U.S. State Secretary Marco Rubio has backtracked on a near-total freeze of U.S. foreign aid, issuing a waiver for "life-saving humanitarian assistance," the Washington Post (WP) reported on. Jan 28 citing memos sent to aid organizations.

U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on his inauguration day suspending foreign aid programs for 90 days so they can be reviewed to ensure they align with "American interests" and "American values."

In Ukraine, the organizations affected provide a huge range of humanitarian services, including counseling, organizing cultural events, and providing basic services, often to some of the most vulnerable segments of society.

In the memo seen by WP, Rubio issues a waiver for work he defined as "core life saving medicine, medical services, food, shelter, and subsistence assistance, as well as supplies and reasonable administrative costs as necessary to deliver such assistance."

Those not covered by the waiver include "abortions, family planning conferences… transgender surgeries, or other non-life saving assistance."

"Implementers of existing life saving humanitarian assistance programs should continue or resume work if they have stopped," the memo added.

WP reported that many programs funded by the U.S.'s roughly $60 billion foreign aid budget were left confused as to whether or not they qualified for the waiver.

'4 out of 4' — Russian Lukoil oil refinery struck by multiple Ukrainian drones, military intelligence source claims

by Chris York January 29, 2025 8:55 AM

A Lukoil oil refinery in the Russian oblast of Nizhny Novgorod was struck by multiple Ukrainian drones in the early hours of Jan. 29, a military intelligence (HUR) source told the Kyiv Independent.

Drone strikes were reported by local officials across several Russian regions overnight, including the Nizhny Novgorod, Smolensk, Tver, and Bryansk oblasts, causing fires and prompting air defense responses.

According to the HUR source, the Lukoil oil depot in the city of Kstovo was targeted by four drones, all of which struck their target and caused "significant damage."

They added the refinery "supports the activities of the Russian occupation forces" and was "attacked at around midnight local time."

The refinery is located around 800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

@wartranslated

Yesterday, as part of a campaign to enforce peace through strength, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck Lukoil’s Nizhny Novgorod oil refinery, leaving it engulfed in flames, as seen in the footage.

Notably, the Ryazan, Novoshakhtinsk, and Nizhny Novgorod refineries—all targeted in recent days—collectively process nearly 40 million tonnes of oil per year. Disabling them could slash Russia’s output by 15%.
