INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE
7 January 2025
Russian forces sustained 429,660 casualties (killed and wounded) in the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2024, a notable increase on the 252,940 casualties sustained in 2023, according to Ukrainian General Staff reporting. Since the start of the conflict Russia has likely sustained over 790,000 casualties.
December 2024 was likely the most costly month of the war for Russia with a total of 48,670 casualties reported by the Ukraine General Staff. 45,680 Russian casualties were recorded in November 2024. December was the sixth straight month that Russian Forces have suffered an increase in monthly total losses.
The average daily Russian casualties reached a new monthly war high during December 2024. The average daily loss rate was 1,570, the fifth straight month that Russian Forces have sustained new war high average daily losses. 19 December 2024 saw a new war high of 2,200 losses in a single day. Russia will highly likely continue to experience high casualty rates over January 2025 with continued dismounted infantry attacks on multiple axes.

Does not matter to them, They will let 10,000 die a day if they can move forward 100 meters.

If that is accurate, unless Ukraine turns it around in the next few weeks there really isn't incentive for Russia to quit unless they are on the cusp of folding themselves, which seems unlikely.
It does seem like things have been trending up for Ukraine a bit in the past week, but I kind of expected them to try something close to Trump's inauguration in an attempt to get some positive press coverage. This may just be that or the beginnings of it.
For all of the talk in here about "if Trump stops aid, Europe will step up", it sure seems like most journalists and milbloggers don't believe that.

If I was Putin there is no way I quit. After what transpired after the Minsk agreements with Merkel admitting it was just a delay tactic why would he trust any agreement this time? He would be right back to fighting the same War again in 4 years with a replenished Ukrainian Military. I think he knows he has to see this to the end now.

For anyone who may not realize. Victoria Nuland's sister-in-law, Kimberly Kagan, is president of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). So it is one circle jerk leading the other

Tanker anchor that could have torn submarine cables recovered from Gulf of Finland – media
Mariya Yemets — Tuesday, 7 January 2025, 13:48
The anchor of the tanker Eagle S, believed to have been lost when it ran through several submarine cables, has been found at the bottom of the Gulf of Finland.
Source: Yle, citing its sources, as reported by European Pravda
Details: The anchor was found on the seabed and brought to the surface with the help of the HMS Belos, a special ship of the Swedish Navy.
The anchor is now in the hands of the investigators looking into the damage done to an underwater power transmission line and several communication cables in the Gulf of Finland on the afternoon of 25 December 2024. The main theory is that the cables were torn by the anchor of the Eagle S tanker, which was sailing from a Russian port.
The Eagle S tanker, believed to be part of Russia's shadow fleet and suspected of damaging the cables in the Gulf of Finland on 25 December, is docked in a harbour near the city of Porvoo.
Eight crew members of the Eagle S have been detained as suspects.
The tanker is undergoing an inspection by the Traficom Transport and Communications Agency which is focusing on its technical condition and compliance with all necessary requirements.

The cuckhawks on here don't care. I've been pointing this out for over 2 years now.
They are huge POS who don't care at all that their love of Neverending war has resulted in the death of over 500,000 White Christian lads on both sides combined. It has also decimated the very country they claim to love

Magically the MSM is a reliable source of facts.

The Russians won't accept anything short of a permanent peace because of the Minsk agreements. No frozen conflict and no ceasefire. Currently Putin holds 90% of the cards.
In Putin's position right now, it is going to be very difficult to get him to stop. He is going to push his advantage otherwise he will continue the war until Ukraine totally collapses. Ukraine will have to totally withdraw from the 4 oblasts and agree to No NATO at any time. Total neutrality. No telling what other demands will appear. Otherwise Putin will continue.
Trump is going in having to negotiate for a side that is losing.

Some of you continue to be in total denial to reality on the ground. Do you think prices in Russia are going to make Putin stop? Do you think the Russian people are going to rise up?
This is reaching a point that everyday this continues it is only worse for Ukraine. How can they turn this around at this point? What could we do to reverse the situation at this point?

You are correct.
So... does Trump allow Putin to win? Does he just rationalize losing? Taking the L against team Putin/Khomeini/Kim/Xi?
Hearing him spout the Russian propaganda in that clip above mine from Barron, I think that's what he's trying to do...

Here is the reality.
Trump has been handed a shite sandwich by an incompetent administration whose policy was a total failure.
If he ends this he will be blamed by people like you that he caved to Putin and surrendered.
If he continues this he will be blamed for the defeat when Ukraine totally collapses by people like you. If he chooses this option he might lose his base.
Choose your poison.
