Amazing that with all the advantages Russia has in men, weapons, industrial capacity, and brsin power that almost three years later Russia is only slowly gaining territory and has parts of the motherland occupied by the Ukes.
And with the "weaker" US only partially engaged and treating it more like an afterthought than anything.

Source: Zelenskyy on Facebook
Details: The Ukrainian president has been providing weekly updates on the number of drones, guided aerial bombs and missiles launched by Russia against Ukraine for the past three months, starting from 1 September.
The average number of drones launched by Russia is 500-600. However, the 370 drones launched this week are the lowest number ever reported by Zelenskyy.

Production at Russian Oil Refineries and Oil Production Fell to Their Lowest Levels in More Than 10 Years
As a result of the Ukrainian attacks, production at Russian oil refineries fell to a 12-year low. At the same time, oil production has fallen to a 19-year low.
The Moscow Times and the analytical service Siala reported on this.
According to the Moscow Times, by the end of 2024, oil refining at refineries in the Russian Federation, taking into account the December dynamics, is expected to reach 266.9 million tons, which is 8.1 million tons lower than last year. This is the lowest figure since 2012, when refineries processed 265.4 million tons of crude.
The reason for the decline to a 12-year low was unscheduled repairs and a reduction in margins due to the Russian government’s attempts to curb the rise in fuel prices for households.

Russia removes Taliban and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham from list of terrorist organisations – ISW
Ivan Diakonov — Sunday, 29 December 2024, 04:57
Russian ruler Vladimir Putin has signed a law allowing for the removal of the Taliban and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) from Russia’s list of terrorist organisations, creating a legal basis for changes in relations with these groups.
Source: Institute for the Study of War (ISW)
Details: The recently signed decree authorises the Russian government to remove certain organisations from its list of terrorist groups. This includes the Taliban, which currently rules Afghanistan, and HTS, which has recently assumed power in Syria. The decision is viewed as part of Russia’s wider strategy to build stronger relations with these groups.
Russian military bloggers suggest that these actions will promote political and economic cooperation between Russia and the Taliban, potentially facilitating the creation of new trade routes through Afghanistan. The decree also provides an opportunity for Russia to collaborate with the interim Syrian government led by HTS. Analysts observe that this will enable Russia to secure and sustain its military bases in Syria.

This was clearly engineered by the US
According to the Russians, it’s always “America, America, America” whenever anything happens. And it’s usually Russia.

Insufficient numbers and insufficient production capacity, and so not only did we not send enough, our aid was unsustainable, we couldn’t replace losses the way the Ukrainians needed us to, and so once we ran out of something, that was largely it, but it goes beyond that.
100% true. I know that Zelensky has recently asked for 19 more Patriot systems. He has received.0. We don't have enough to spare.

So you don't think our CIA's fingerprints won't be found on any of this?

This may come as a shock to you, but Muslims have been killing other Muslims for sectarian reasons for centuries before the cia was a thing.

Are we also just going to pretend this didn't start a couple of days back?

Pakistan confirmed today that it carried out air strikes in Pakitika province of Afghanistan two nights back, an act which has angered the Taliban regime and heightened tensions between the two bordering nations.
Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson said its cross-border military action was an intelligence-based operation aimed at neutralizing “threats to the security of Pakistan’s citizens.”
Pakistan has often said that its citizens are facing security threat from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an Islamist militant group. Islamabad says that TTP has bases in Afghanistan, a claim which has been repeatedly denied by both the Taliban regime and TTP.
The Taliban regime has strongly condemned the bombing, saying it targeted refugees from Waziristan and killed 46 innocent people and injured 6 others.
The victims included several children and women, the Taliban regime said and vowed retaliation.

Solovyov is Jewish and not Russian
I think he says things like this to ingratiate himself, in his mind at least. Many of the major media figures in Russia are Jewish or Armenian, and to some degree they’ll always be outsiders.

The Ukrainians are hiring Islamic extremists to carry out attacks in Russia
The CIA has supported jihadists in Chechnya and Dagestan for a very long time now, so we may be involved as well, no matter how stupid that would be.
