needs confirmation...
Ukraine Strikes Deep into russian Territory with the Storm Shadow Missiles, the Target Is Suspected Buried Presidential Command Post
The strike reportedly occurred near the historic estate of the Baryatinsky family, now a sanatorium under the Administrative Directorate of the President of the russian Federation. Speculation suggests that a deeply buried military command post, potentially serving as a communications hub, was the primary target. The area’s strategic value, particularly with the presence of North Korean forces in the region, raises the possibility of high-profile military personnel, possibly even North Korean generals, being present at the site.
The use of the Storm Shadow missiles in this context is significant. These precision-guided weapons, equipped with the BROACH-type warheads, are specifically designed for hardened targets. The warhead employs a two-stage system: an initial shaped charge breaches the structure, followed by a fragmentation-explosive warhead to destroy interior defenses. This capability has previously been demonstrated in strikes on fortified command posts, such as the russian Black Sea Fleet’s reserve command post in Verkhnosadove.

Would North Korea Really Send 100,000 Troops to Fight in Ukraine?
quote:
Could North Korea Beef Up Russia with Another 100,000 Troops?: You may have seen photos of Russia’s Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un grinning profusely while shaking hands during the announcement of a new joint defense pact.
As a result, Kim has already sent at least 10,000 North Korean troops to Russia who have deployed to the Kursk region of western Russia for a counter-offensive against Ukrainian forces there.
But the 10,000 soldiers could be a drop in the bucket. One report from the G20 group of nations claims that Kim might have plans to send a whopping 100,000 of his troops to Russia.
What happens if this comes to pass? How could such a move change the outcome of the Ukraine war?

Curious... do you think the US military would just wade into long-term trench warfare, there?

How would you describe it?
Is it a provocation? Is it significant? Is it largely a nothingburger?
And based on that, how much increased risk is posed to the US and her interests as a result of that answer?
The anti-personnel mines and ATACMS permissions will have an impact, but they aren't gamechangers in and of themselves. It's similar to when we first authorized armored vehicles to be sent to Ukraine, or when we authorized F-16s, or when we sent cluster munitions (each of which also faced the same duality of claims). These kinds of aid have a cumulative effect.
The greatest risk in this conflict, by far, has always come from a Russian victory that would strengthen the CRINKs alliance against us (China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea).

Can the Russia bros decide whether giving Ukraine mines and ATACMS permission is:
1) Meaningless and will have zero impact on Russia's imminent victory, or
2) An extraordinary escalation that will result in WWIII?
It would be really nice if y'all would pick. Thx.

If that’s the case what does 20,000 NK regulars shipping out to Russia mean?

That would be a sign they are losing as well, if we didn't know about everything else going on in the last 6 months

How exactly would Russia be any closer to dominating the global pecking order even if they took the entire country? Be specific.
I'm actually interested to hear someone explain how them taking territory that they controlled within most of our lifetimes, not even that long ago, is going to tip the geopolitical scales.
The USSR at its peak wasn't even close to as strong as the US has been post-WW2 until present. They held a lot more territory than they do right now, including Ukraine.

Hey Leon.
You praise that worthless prick Obama for not being a Neocon. Yet here you are lusting for war and ignoring death and suffering.
Of course you guys love those neocons now don't you?
Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, John Bolton, John McCain, Bill Kristol.
Oh boy. Pack your shite for Lithuania. They can make you a general with some of your homies here while you whip Ivan in 1.5 days.
