But you can back Ukraine and not advocate direct US involvement.
If Ukraine falls so will all of Europe. Putin will conquer it all, starting with Poland. Right? I'm pretty sure those are positions espoused here.

I’ve made my position clear.
But I do agree with you about Putin and Russia’s government, they are evil.

Agreed. Is Zelensky and the top brass in Ukraine any different?

A lot different. They haven’t started any wars.
There is no discussion.

We gave our blessing to land mines, which is barbaric.
We are the USA - we are necessarily held to higher standards than third world shitholes

US Defense Secretary explains decision to send anti-personnel mines to Ukraine
Khrystyna Bondarieva — Wednesday, 20 November 2024, 16:00
The Biden administration’s decision to send anti-personnel mines to Ukraine for the first time was prompted by a shift in Russian tactics on the battlefield.
Source: US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, quoted by CNN, as reported by European Pravda
Details: Austin noted that Russian forces have been so unsuccessful in their combat operations that they have altered their tactics.
Quote: "They don’t lead with their mechanised forces anymore. They lead with dismounted forces who are able to close and do things to kind of pave the way for mechanised forces."
Austin highlighted the need for Ukrainian forces to have "things that can help slow down that effort."
While the US has provided Ukraine with anti-tank mines since the start of the full-scale war in 2022, the decision to supply anti-personnel mines marks another significant shift in Biden’s administration policy.
Quote: "The land mines that we would look to provide them with are land mines that are not persistent. We can control when they would self-activate, self-detonate, and that makes it far safer eventually than the things that they are creating on their own."
He stressed the importance of Ukraine responsibly recording the locations where these mines are deployed.

Further proof this is our proxy war and we are in charge of calling the shots.
Seems like we were right from day one.

How? That’s the rub, how would a ceasefire be enforced?
No way without European or American direct help.

If this, if that.
If there is a WWIII they aren’t going to look at a message board to see who is for it agsinst Ukraine. They will draft anyone.

No, they won't. But if you are this rah rah for increasing the conflict, then by all means you should be the first to volunteer, hypothetically. Correct?

Hypothetically no. Hypothetically, I would tell them to go get Vol, Winston, NC Tigah and you first.
I’m against increasing the conflict, but when Russia ratchets up their attacks by bringing if in Iranian help, N Korean help, and blasts away at Ukraine from distance and hordes materials for war at a distance, I believe we should help Ukraine defend themselves.

No he has definitely made his position clear you just like to play in strawman arguments and ignore anything that doesn't fit your narrative.

You don’t think Trump and Elon are fundamentally different animals than a Biden, Clinton, Bush, or Pelosi? People who have made it in the private world vs leeches latched on to the tit of the American tax payer?
The Bush family was way at the top long before going into politics.
Trump and Elon were born wealthy... that plays the biggest part in their "making it," because it has allowed them to get financing after failures way beyond what you would ever be allowed.
