I will tell you what I really think about the Stalin/Soviet Union. I think that they were just as evil as the Nazi's, maybe even more so as far as the number that they killed. There is plenty of evidence out there that proves my point. They catch a break because they were "allies" at the time from some western historians and the press. We rented their army to accomplish a purpose and it worked. I agree with every word that Patton said about them and that might be what got him killed.
As I have said before, many of the old structures that existed in the Soviet Union still.are present today in Russia. The only way to kill those would have been when the Soviet Union fell for it to be subjected to a.similar process such as denazification as you saw in Germany and/or demilitarized like Japan. It didn't happen, so you still deal.with.old.habits/old ways.
This war is a tragedy and many people over there have suffered/died as a result of one man's actions and weak western leaders.

I think people certainly thought of them as being as evil as the Nazis from 1945-1990... Stalim earned his place right next to Hitler in the Hall of Fame
Yeltsin is who disarmed the world, after Gorbachev shut down the U.S.S.R. on moral grounds (he wanted people to choose the communist system because they were convinced it was best, then he refused to murder the people who wanted out... and everybody wanted out). If Yeltsin had not been a corrupt a-hole, and had not handpicked Putin - partially in the belief he could not overshadow him - things might have been a little different... but Russian Society is so screwed up it just went from Communism to Kleptocracy. Your average Russian out in the boonies who can remember says they don't see a difference... some Russians in the cities actually say Communism was better because they didn't have to look at other Russians who've made millions and flaunt wealth.
I've always been a bit fascinated by Krushev... who was a monster in our eyes at the time, but actually "de-Stalinized" the Soviet Union when Stalin died, made blustery public comments but behind the scenes actually ramped back a lot of things on their end... and even though he used the Cuban Missile Crisis to get something that greatly benefitted the U.S.S.R. (having US nukes removed from Turkey and Italy, which he'd never made a public issue about) he did it in secret, allowing himself to look like the "loser" to Kennedy to the world and his own people... and getting himself removed from power eventually because of it. Though he is perhaps the only Soviet leader allowed to enjoy a peaceful retirement... besides Gorbachev, I guess.

Funny you sure haven’t seen Lima since all this happened. He hasn’t been given his official talking points from the Kremlin about how everything is under control and this is all a figment of everyone’s imagination brought on by Ukrainian zombie scientists poisoning all of the Russian population by putting hallucinating ferry dust in the air.

Interesting tidbit that the Kursk NPP is the main power source for 48% of Russia's iron ore production, about 1/7th of its wheat, almost 1/5th of its sugar.
If taken, a HUGE blow to the already teetering Russian economy

Not a bad place to park and use these assets as shelter - places Russia doesn’t want to shell indiscriminately

Lima is not a "troll." If you mess with him, he doesn't react like a troll.
He is either on the clock at the FSB, or is a certified invested real-life true believer.
If the latter, I imagine he's having a spiritual crisis

I feel some here would be giddy if every Russian died. It’s very strange.

How often and how vividly do you find yourself imagining vaginas on men?

Demographic reports suggest that won't happen for maybe another 30 or 35 years...

Your butt buddy hero can end this at anytime. Just leave Ukraine. It’s not that complicated.

So it’s ok for Putin to invade Ukraine and kill innocent people but let Ukraine cross a few km into Russia and it’s a travesty and war crime? Get fricked. Go beat off to your picture of Putin shirtless on horseback. Ain’t no fun when the rabbit’s got the gun, is it?

Interesting how I never said any of that.
