I think that map shows Crimea in Ukraine's control. Could be wrong. Not terribly great with geography

you cucks still think Ukraine is winning? how embarrassing.
Super embarrassing.
Almost as embarrassing as the Russian flagship getting sunk by a country with no navy?
Almost as embarrassing as the elite Russian troops trying and failing to take Kyiv?
Almost as embarrassing as Russia failing to take the Donbas fully after 2.5 years of full-scale war?

What makes you think they aren’t already there? You think a bunch of farmers who repair old Soviet tractors are going to be trusted working on a $63 million jet?

oh no, he crossed out Russia from the map. someone tell the Russian military to immediately retreat back to the pre 1991 borders.
didn't you clowns downvote anyone who said western tanks won't do anything on the flat Ukrainian steppe? now you actually think a handful of F-16s is going to all of a sudden change the tide of the war. what happened to the game changing 60 billion that was urgently needed? what happened to the million rounds of 155 being delivered if the 60 billion was passed?

What a clueless cuck!
For starters, the million rounds is over time, not immediate.
Then, 2/3 of the 60 billion was to rebuild what Clinton and Obama destroyed in the US defense industry, not going to Ukraine at all

All of the laws ever needed are already on the books. They are just being intentionally ignored by the White House Resident and the Marxist hens that pull his strings.
Nope... the thing you all ignore is that the border is not being bombarded by people seeking to illegally enter the US...
It is being bombarded by people seeking Asylum in the US, who turn themselves into the Border Patrol and want to be processed.
That is a completely different thing to tackle.
Conflating the two is just a big dumb media game.
The people trying to enter illegally are going to spots that no one realizes they are crossing... you don't know where they are and if they're succeeding,
The masses of people wanting to be seen crossing the border because they want to get the legal process started are who you're pointing to... and our current laws and policies don't deal with those people on that magnitude.

thats my point you absolute illiterate clown. the 60B was supposed to be for ammunition from our defense industry. now you boomercons are saying its to rebuild.
rebuild from what? we haven't had a fully conventional military industry in a long time. most of our systems aren't for mass production, its highly technical equipment meant to be sold at profit.
this is like saying Nvidia needs to mass produce junk graphics cards instead of making high end hardware that is marketed to the enthusiast graphics designers and gamers.

Hot chicks to give out to foreigners? Millions of men have fled the country. Hundreds of thousands are at the front. Hundreds of thousands are casualties. Excess hot chicks may be one of a few things that they have plenty of.
A lot of young women have left the country, this was a once in a lifetime chance for a better future.

Agreed, they took their chance to get as far away from Russia as possible.
As did millions of young Russians, though I notice you never really talk about that.

No idea what the real number is. But even if it’s half that, it’s still a quarter of a million. For some perspective, in the 20 years of fighting Iraq and Afghanistan, the US military lost a combined total of 7,000 KIA.
That total would mean the Russians had suffered more than 100% casualties. The invasion force itself was just 190k men, and it wasn't until this winter when the Russians outnumbered the Ukrainian. It's also illogical based on the Russian Armies defensive posture from the Fall of 22 to the Winter of 23/24, and the disparity in means between the two sides.
I think Kiev is inventing these numbers whole cloth because they're worried about losing Western support, and because they want to bolster domestic morale.
Mediazona has a Russian casualty tracker, it's based off of published obituaries, but they also try and estimate the actual death toll by looking at excess death figures in Russia. I assume we're funding it.

You may also be interested in this Reuters article, it looks into the VDV death toll by following a graduating class from the Airborne Command School.

quote:
Some of the two dozen graduates went to a reception at the Kremlin three days later...
...
Three of the graduates were killed in Ukraine in the early months of the invasion in 2022 and a fourth was killed in October 2023, the reporting showed. A fifth was decorated for bravery and a sixth was captured by Ukraine then released in a prisoner exchange. All but three of the Russian nationals in the graduating class are still in the Russian military.
Joris Van Bladel, who researches Russia’s armed forces at Belgium’s Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations, noted that while the 2016 class is too small a sample to draw wide conclusions, the relatively low casualty rate serves as a reminder that Russia’s military, battered by a months-long Ukrainian counter-offensive, isn’t a basket case. The British government, for example, said in August it believes 50% of Russia’s paratroopers deployed to Ukraine have been killed in action or wounded.
If Russian losses are (comparatively) low it means that we're being lied to. But that's normal these days, and not worth overthinking. This is not the same country we were born in.

If this is true it means Putin launched an invasion although he was outnumbered.
It also means it took two years for Russia to catch up in manpower.
Russia’s population is about 144 million. Ukraine’s is just under 38 million. Russia outnumbered Ukraine almost 4-1 yet it took two years for them to match Ukraine’s army?
I’m not saying the Ukraine casualty numbers seem correct because they appear to be severely inflated, but your numbers don’t make sense either.

Tonight, Ukrainian attack drones successfully hit an oil depot in the port of Kavkaz, Russia, just off the Kerch Strait.
The depot can be seen burning into this morning.

The Ukrainians started with a larger force, and they were rushing to get as many men under arms as possible. Training was limited and you didn't get a lot of it. It's a war of survival.
I didn't understand it at the time, but in the Fall of 22, Putin decided that the war would not end quickly, and that they would need to shift to a genuine wartime economy, and dramatically increase the size of the armed forces. And they didn't shortchange the training process to get there, they slowly built up the army, month by month. They were very patient. That's why they weren't going on the offensive. They didn't have the numbers for it.

you should be mad at the military industry. they screwed our defense capabilities for profit. only way to fix this is to nationalize defense like its supposed to be.
