Is this supposed to be some Russian hype? Lol, guys who fought guys with rusty AK's and RPGs are now fighting a 2nd world millitary. And saying it's harder? Is that news?

I think it's the brutal WWI trench warfare aspect... I understand what it's saying. The Russians aren't dealing with it that well, either... the Ukrainians have a different mindset, because... well, they have to...

It's crazy that it took the Czechs to do this, but there are lots of countries that are happy to indirectly sell artillery shells to Ukraine, as long as people keep their mouths shut about where it came from.

The US could never do this, because too many idiots at the Pentagon would run to reporters saying, "Country X is selling us weapons to give to Ukraine." We already saw that exact thing happen with South Korea.

OK, rant over. This is a big deal. If the Czechs were paying the highway robbery price of $5000 per shell, that would still be 320,000 shells -- a big boost to Ukrainian defense. Hopefully, they are paying less.

EDIT: We know that the German contribution to this effort was for shells at 3000 Euros per shell. If that's the average rate overall (a big if), then that would amount to 533,000 shells.

I heard someone or other on Youtube (I just let it play while I work a lot of the time and the algorithm pumps Ukraine stuff at me) say that European shell production is actually bigger than we think it is... but it's usually sold to countries that are not in Europe... but to African and Middle-Eastern and Asian countries where mortar round warfare is still a common thing. That's how they "find" shells... someone hasn't paid for their order or something, or decides they can wait.

multiple twitter posts mentioning this story in BILD...

(((Tendar)))
@Tendar
It has been reported by BILD that when Ukraine used Patriot missiles against Russian aerial vehicles in Bryansk back in May 13, 2023, where in a matter of minutes two Russian Mil Mi-8, one Su-34 and one Su-35 were blown out of the Russian sky, that Berlin and Washington were furious. They threatened to stop deliveries if this repeats.

"As long as it takes!!!

Biden and Scholz are two weak pussies.

Is Jake Sullivan the President?

Biden has been just as dead set against this as Sullivan.

Western fighters in Ukraine are getting killed because they assumed the war would be easy, says a US veteran who fought there

Business Insider.

I mentioned my buddy who is a Marine who served in Afghanistan and who went to Ukraine when guys from his old unit convinced him to join them there... I don't think he ended up in the same unit with any of those guys... but yeah, I mentioned previously that he said we don't understand what's going on there... that when they listen to our advisors they get fricked up, so he's not just saying Western fighters but Western brass back at the Pentagon... "we think in terms of doing things that break our opponents resolve... well, they're pumping these guys full of drugs, giving a lot of them sticks because they don't want to lose guns, putting a gun in their back and telling them to charge our positions... all day long. This will take brutality to defeat brutality."

But on the question of "are you saying the US or NATO would have trouble fighting the Russians themselves?" he says "No, we'd obliterate them. But we'd do that by owning the skies instantly... Ukraine doesn't own the skies, and it's like our guys tell them to do this stuff we would do, but forgetting that one really big detail."

And on Afghanistan, when asked about the pullout, which he says sucks for him to think about the people who put faith in us and helped and now are probably dead, "That was over 20 years ago... the majority of the Afghan military weren't born when we took over the country... and we taught them how to fight the way we fight for 20+ years... which is all based on tech... and when we took that all away one day, those guys were blind. So... of course they're going to just quit, they couldn't do anything. They probably couldn't talk to other units in the next neighborhood. We screwed them."

Does Dementia Joe know? I doubt it.

I saw yesterday that his Gaza pier was sinking into the ocean. I hope.it sinks.all of the way to the bottom. Another Biden foreign policy feat. Wasn't it like 320 million dollars?

I always liked Jimmy Carter as a decent human being. I am glad that he lived to witness this debacle. He can now go to his grave knowing that he is no longer the worst President in history.

You Biden boys voted for a real winner.

Hopefully, the DoD at least learned some good lessons, so that if we actually need to build one of these in a conflict that we're involved in, we can make it work.

Anyone with a brain can see the MIC and their bought off pols are perpetrating another forever war, and killing hundreds of thousands of Christian lads in the process.

Unfortunately the Slava Ukraini simps don't have brains. Sad!

Yeah the war has evolved into trench warfare with drones. Because Ukraine has little to no air force. This is why american doctrine is so heavily focused on air superiority.

Would Israel have similar restrictions on weapons we gave them if they were in the same situation Ukraine is in?

The answer is a clear “no”, because Israel is actually important to US interests

This dude lies so easily and casually, and then wonders why people treat him like a trashposter.

Winston, I'm curious if you do this in real life? Do you lie about your coworkers and then get surprised when you don't get promoted? Do you lie about women you date and then get surprised when they dump you?

It's no wonder that you believe every conspiracy theory -- you think that the world is full of people who lie like you do.

Does this change your feelings?

Al Jazeera:'Putin is using Russia's ethnic minorities to fight in Ukraine'

We know that statistically Dagestan, Tuva Republic and Buryat Republic, where minorities live, have the highest death toll.

Buryat people are often Buddhists or Shamanistic Pagans (Tengrism)... Tuvans are mostly Tengrists/Buddhists, Dagestanis are mostly Muslims and Azerbaijani Jews...

So not "Christian Lads" so much on the Russian side...

I think it's a shame that bastard sent them to be slaughtered (half on purpose, because they're a rebellion waiting to happen sooner or later) in order to steal another country... especially when they probably do not give a shite at all
