This is the far left like the squad stopping everything. Any package includes Israel and they support Hamas and Palestine and will never budge. People put way too much blame on the Republican party over the Ukraine funding and it’s very unwarranted.

The far-Left hates America because they believe that it's imperialist and racist.
The far-Right hates America because they believe that it's woke.
Neither loves the real, actual country that they live in.

Well with dos bocas and dangote starting up, we're going to go from short refining to quite long. Even with lyondel shutting in q1.
The reason is that renewable distillates (diesel and jet fuel) are not profitable and it is hard to get enough feed stock. Saraland (Mobile) had been turned into a renewable fuels refinery, and cannot find any feedstock to buy. Feedstock is vegetable, inedible corn oil (extracted after ethanol) and brown grease (used fat fry oil)

That is not at all reflected in the actual records of the process... the "Squad" are 4 Representatives, their votes don't block anything... they did not force McCarthy to remove Ukrainian funding from the budget, the "Freedom Caucus" did... they are not in a position to dictate to Johnson anything, Trump is...

You've said this at least a dozen times in this thread. Not being ok with the country you love being run into the ground doesn't mean you hate it, quite the opposite actually. There is nothing wrong with questioning the people who run this country, especially when they've shown their incompetence time & again. The far left wants to strip this country of its identity and they're doing a bang up job.

I disagree, if the national security supplemental (which includes aid for taiwan, israel, and Ukraine) that was passed by the senate was put to a vote in the house it would pass in spite of the far left and the far right. Mike could put it up for a vote but he won't because he knows it would pass.
To be clear, I am not blaming the Republican party. A large number, possibly the majority, of house republicans would vote for the bill if given the opportunity.

America's identity changes every couple of decades... you can't stop that, people die off and are replaced by people who think differently. If you rigidly legalize it and enforce it, young people leave and the country collapses.

It's the Paultards, aka Rontards, Paulbots, Ron Paul followers. They aren't really right or left.
In 2012 most looked like the Simpsons Comic Book guy with unkempt beards and ill fitting Salvation Army or WalMart blue sport coats. Pretty much losers at life Mama's Basement types

How do you define country?
I think I may agree with you. I miss the country we used to have nationally, but you can still find the old America in the rural and less developed parts of the country. Miles City is still the Miles City of my childhood.

So said every idiot wearing a Che t-shirt since the 1960s. Jane Fonda said that she was a patriot for going to Hanoi.
Doesn't make it true. People in here who root for Russia and for America's enemies are anti-American. It's not complicated.

What if the Senate passed HR-2, the Houses immigration bill, then theoretically, the Freedom Cause got what they wanted and wouldn't oppose the Ukraine bill.
But no one pushes the Senate to do that....

How will the new Iran-Israel War affect the conflict in Ukraine?
- I would begin by saying that today should be the day that Jake Sullivan resigns. "Escalation management" has failed in every way. What we are seeing in the Middle East today is the direct result of allowing Iran to strike Ukrainian apartment buildings and hospitals ... without any consequence. It's also easy to draw a straight line from the Afghanistan fiasco to today.
- Today is equally a testament to Israeli failure to support Ukraine. When Iran fired Shaheds at Ukraine, Israel had the opportunity to provide significant support to Ukraine to defend against these weapons, and they chose to instead abstain from doing so in the fear of upsetting Russia.
- Finally, it represents a European failure to recognize the threat from Iran. European countries that have continued to trade with Iran and treat it as a normal nation now have to confront reality.
- In return for its role in attacks on Ukraine, Iran has received significant military support from Russia. And the drones and missiles flying towards Israel right now are chock-full of Chinese-supplied parts. Some people in here (and also a few idiots in Congress) still deny that North Korea-Russia-China-Iran is now an axis united in military opposition to the free world.
- The failure of the US House to vote on the Senate-passed aid bill to Ukraine and Israel will now come under new scrutiny. There were reports that Speaker Johnson, having visited with President Trump at Mar-A-Lago and gotten his blessing, had what he needed to put an aid bill on the House floor this week.
But now, I wonder if there will be a renewed effort to simply call a vote on the Senate bill. The idea that Iran's allies could help it build nuclear weapons is simply intolerable.
