Exactly right. The Ukraine is a proxy NATO/US territory at this point.

You can tell them this until they are blue in the face. But the leader of a nation with the GDP the size of the state of Pennsylvania is the world's biggest boogey man.

When this war just kicked off many were saying this is THE

Illia Ponomarenko
@IAPonomarenko

Let's make sure not to miss the fact that Germany is sending us an AWESOME defense aid package:

- another PATRIOT system (a command and control unit, a radar, 8 launchers, over 60 missiles).
- new IRIS-T systems, medium- and short-range.
- 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks.
- 3 Gepard systems.
- Transport and medical vehicles.

A total of nearly 1 billion euros.

I have no problem with this. Europe should spend their money how they see fit.

Sure I mean that. Regardless, NATO continued to grow while the Warsaw Pact dissolved. Cool you all don't find an issue with the lies.

The only lies are your fake news sources. The only promise was not to build any US bases in former East Germany.

Those former Warsaw Pact nations knew how Russia had been for centuries and ASKED to enter NATO.

Yeah. Who in their right minds would ever think good old USA would colonize hundreds of countries with 1,000's of military bases all over the world.

Should I link how many military bases we have scattered over the globe or is that really really really big fake news?

All you guys do is lie in this thread.

Wrong.

Lack of funding did not prevent us from sealing the borders. The fact is the government led by Biden refused to do it.

Again, what problems do we have that the government could fix if only they had more money.

I hope all the anti-Nazi pro-Russia types go join the fight against WEF and globalism!

They have told the pro-Ukraine folks to go and fight so maybe they/you should take their advice and fight for your cause as well.

Puerto Rico and American Samoa are territories, not a colonies, and are eligible for statehood.

They must not teach much in Russian public schools

Edit: and all persons born in American Samoa and Puerto Rico are natural born US citizens. That is not colonialism.

Simply stating that a pig is a cat does not make the pig actually become a cat.

American Samoa is culturally a colony.

Same goes for Puerto Rico.

Legally? Who cares?

Hard to say how the Russian attack has gone, but there sure are some videos out there.

The videos do not paint a pretty picture for the Russians.

I'm not sure that stuff will make it to the top page of whatever "ultra-neutral, not-pro-Russian" sub-reddit gets posted here sometime.

Weird quirk, but American Samoans are not citizens but are free to move to the mainland anyway

ETA it even says they aren't a citizen in their American passports

this "Colony" has an open vote every so often to do one of three things:

1) become independent
2) request to be given statehood
3) remain a territory with the current benefits territories get.

alaska, hawaii, montana, ect were all territories before becoming states. Philippines, was a true colony. locals did not get to vote for the governor, he was appointed by the US government.

Puerto Rico elects their own government and legislature....

Do you mean that accords that Gorbacbev has said did and didn't exist contradicting himself several times over the years?

The accord that exists only in the mind of Russophiles?

Russians knew better *decades* ago, even if they operated under that assumption. They even engaged in the PFP for years themselves.

The idea that the US ever put to paper that NATO would not move East is a fricking joke, fit only for the mentally deficient, communists, and Russophiles.

Just to be fair there are definitely memos that show this idea was 100% thrown around, but since nothing was actually signed and agreed to its up to your particular belief system if a quid pro quo was verbally agreed to or not.
