Everyone said that about Grant's Petersburg campaign and begged Lincoln to replace him. We all know how that turned out. Maybe you should keep your butthurt opinions to yourself until after we see how it turns out.

I’m not butthurt. I won’t cry or cheer if the Ukrainians drive all the way to the sea in the next week. And let’s be real, the Ukrainians have made no significant progress and have payed dearly for it already. They don’t have any F-16s yet and the western MBTs don’t really seem to be making an impact.

That’s in line with what most experts have been saying. This is no lightning war, no blitzkrieg, and there’s no real breakthrough as we know it.

100% truth.

Extremely naive, ignorant, insulting and frankly just incorrect. Telling other humans we simply view human life as if it were some enjoyable video game, and their lives mean nothing to us. I would say you two should be ashamed of yourselves, but I have a feeling that you each may not be capable. To just diminish our understanding and respect for life is utterly foolish, all because you disagree with our viewpoints. Just awful. I am politely restraining myself as to remain cordial, but a vile remark to apply to a broad swath of informed individuals who have true compassion and sympathy for the situation as a whole. None of of us want this, but since Russia initiated this, we support Ukraine in their right to fight for their sovereignty. To make such an ill placed leap is deplorable. Try and attempt to have more than a surface level thought that just rattles out of your close-minded thought process. Do better.

Irrelevant

Geezus f’ing goodness, man. How is this irrelevant? I try not to just insult people, but that is plain dumb, stupid, simple minded, and you are clearly stuck in a rut of bias for some unknown reason. Because that comment, that comment is not from someone who thinks.

Of course it is relevant, you dodo bird.

It's the little things like that last part of your statement that reveal your level of butthurt.

True

No shite Sherlock. Only naive ppl like certain posters here (not you btw), the ppl without military experience in the media, and the Biden administration trying to get a foreign policy win with the bare minimum of effort thought < 100 western MBTs would make a difference against one of the heaviest defensive lines in history. However, Ukraine is continuing to chip away at it, continuing to disrupt the Russian logistics network, taking down Russia's SAM defenses over southern Ukraine, and taking out Russia's leaders. The counteroffensive is far from over and it is bigger than just the attacks on the villages of Verbove and NP.

You say some good stuff, often. I often disagree with you, and that is fine. You make fair attempts at making your point, and I respect and appreciate that. But, I have read every single page of this thread, and that is an incorrect assessment of the room.

nah man. It could happen tomorrow, next week or 10 years from now and it really won’t affect my life. I just don’t have any emotional attachment to either side. I understand why you do though and I respect that you’re willing to put it on the line for your beliefs and your friends.

It’s being reported that Igor Girkin was severely beaten in prison, where he is a political prisoner for criticizing the inefficiency of the genocide. So, since the Russians haven’t been able to keep a total lid on the information, they are blaming Ukraine. Let that sink in. A Russian political prisoner is beaten in a Russian prison and somehow it’s the fault of Ukrainians. It would take a special kind of idiot to think that he isn’t being beaten as part of the Kremlin’s ongoing purge of everyone who criticizes Putin or anything related to Putin.

Anyway, here’s the Pic that is circulating on Twitter.

ideas need to be challenged. the rub arises when someone is a smug prick about being wrong 80% of the time.

he can’t help it though, his favorite flavor of crayon is purple (yes this is a usmc joke)

Curious what you war expert Ukraine bros think about these developments?
A few days ago Zelensky appoints spirit cooking Satanist Marina Abramovic to "help rebuild schools" (replenish adrenochrome supplies). Now he honors an SS officer at the Canadian parliament.

The speaker of the Canadian House, Anthony Rota, made an insanely stupid decision to invite someone who had served in the SS to be honored at Zelensky's speech.

Rota should resign.

It's not Zelensky's fault though, or even Trudeau's (as much as I dislike Trudeau). Rota had the guy introduced as a Ukrainian freedom fighter. Everyone clapping thought that he was was someone who had resisted Soviet occupation or something.

I do suppose, though, that by Poliboard rules, Canada is officially a Nazi country now.

Reuters news story on Rota

As for adrenochrome? Bless your heart.

They are going to need pristine runways, protected shelters from drone and missile attacks as well as an extremely robust air defense ring around these airfields because they won’t be able to keep the charade up of moving aircraft around so the Russians can’t focus in on one airbase to hit.
Any possibilty of maintenance facilities being established in Poland?

Useful thread from ISW's George Barros about Ukrainian advances into Verbove and also north of the town. He quotes a lot of Russian Telegram:
