Mass airborne ops still have their place. You really do want air superiority though. If you want to move a battalion or larger unit 1,000 miles where there are no airstrips long enough or the ones that are there have been cratered it is still the best option. You will be limited to armor and other vehicles as small or smaller than a Sheridan. I am not sure if they can LAPES anything bigger than a M555 now, maybe they can. But LAPES can be tricky and I have watched a D7 dozer flipping and rolling looking like a 4 year olds Hot Wheels car as he throws it down a hall. That's a pretty serious FLIPL, not your normal TA-50.

It's probably not true, but now the Russians have to go on a mole hunt in case it is true. Since the Russians don't bother to encrypt their comms, it was probably a radio intercept.
Also, you'd think the spetsznaz are more than capable of pulling something like this, so why use Chechens. Maybe because they doubted the reliability of their own guys to take out a Slavic brother. Or maybe they considered it a suicide mission so why not sacrifice the Chechens. I don't know if we'll ever see the Russian plans, but this whole invasion looks like it was out together by a weekend paintball team.

its amazing to see how man Russian POW's have the same story, that they were told a lie and were not expecting to be met with aggression. r/UkraineWarVideoReport has been posting dozens of videos of POW's calling their parents in the last week. It's heartbreaking

I am going to tell you what’s really happening rn. Just like a told you before the russian military is a joke, there were multiple white papers, some public now, that outlined how we were competing with a rival military threat that never existed. (I will let you figure out who this benefited but Ike told us long ago)
Putin has just gotten himself into a catch 22 situation. His war has been complete disaster. looks like they planned out 48-72 hours max.
He has two choices:
1) level Kiev, and burn it all down and damn the consequences (which will be significant and likely cause his downfall.) or
2) Make a deal. which will suddenly make him look weak etc and likely lead to his downfall.
The “he has changed, crazy unstable, etc” narrative was launched to ok his assassination worldwide. I assume this has or soon will be discussed with Chinese, our KGB and Key oligarchs friends etc
If he doesn’t turn this around in next week or so he is dead man walking.
