Key Takeaways:

Ukrainian forces conducted a series of aerial and naval drone strikes against Russian logistics and port infrastructure in occupied Crimea and Krasnodar Krai (a key Russian naval base) on the night of August 3 to 4.

Russian milbloggers characteristically lambasted the Russian MoD for lying about the naval drone strikes and called on the Russian military to escalate activities in the Black Sea.

Ukrainian forces conducted counteroffensive operations on at least three sectors of the front on August 4.

The Kremlin continues to express its unwillingness to return to the Black Sea Grain Initiative in the absence of extensive concessions from the West.

Tula Oblast Governor Alexei Dyumin reportedly facilitated the reinstatement of the commander of the Russian 106th Guards Airborne (VDV) Division, Major General Vladimir Seliverstov, after meeting Putin’s Chief of Staff Anton Vaino on July 21.

Ukrainian forces conducted counteroffensive operations on at least three sectors of the front on August 4.

Russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, in the Zaporizhia-Donetsk Oblast border area, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast on August 4 and made advances in certain areas.

A prominent Russian milblogger claimed that China’s “temporary” export restrictions on drones may severely impact the ability of Russian volunteers to supply drones to Russian servicemen fighting in Ukraine.

Russian authorities are continuing to deport Ukrainian children to Russia under the guise of summer camps.

Ah yes, just another “neutral” observer from the Ron Paul church of recovering addicts who can’t bring himself to utter a single word of condemnation for the dictatorship that launched an unnecessary war. Go on, say one critical thing about Putin and / or Russia in the context of this conflict. I bet you won’t.

Some of you guys take this way too seriously. We’re not even at war with Russia.

I never watch the news or read newspapers. All were bad 30 years ago and have only gotten worse. Once in a while a writer screws up and gets something right, but most are clueless these days with research teams who likely use Google only for fact checking.

So pointing out that Sy Hersh is an old longtime America hating far leftist is a sin to Tucker's cuck patrol. Tucker is pretty stupid too, but I think that he is bought an paid for by Putin via Orban and Orban's personal lobbyist almost 25 years, Tucker's father, Dick Carlson.

You are a dullard sucker.

Moron. Ukraine is a cesspool. The Obamas put the puppet president in office.

Go on, I bet you won’t admit that Ukraine is a country full of thugs and the Ukraine government captured tortured American journalists for posting YouTube videos.

Go on I bet you won’t admit we have no business going back on our agreement not putting NATO bases east of Germany.

Go on, admit it was who committed the war crime of plowing Nordstream.

Putin is a scumbag. But he’s not even Hussein.

This isn’t our fight. But it is, because the oligarchs who indoctrinate you are extracting riches from our tax dollars.

While y’all discuss tanks and brigades like you’re playing Solider hoping your team gets new toys.

While the White House approved civilian killing cluster bombs to be used.

Because that’s what modern foreign policy does-bomb the shite out of countries then go in and rebuild.

Oh you’re completely correct. I’m fighting against war machine propaganda here. Most of these posters probably don’t trust the American press on any other topic, except for this one. It’s humorous and sad at the same time.

The Obamas put the puppet president in office... during Trump's term

Kinda hard to admit to something that was never written down and Gorbachev has repeatedly said it did and didn't happen

Puppet president, in this instance, is assumed to be Zelensky.

quote:

Presidential elections were held in Ukraine on 31 March 2019. As none of the 39 candidates on the ballot received an absolute majority of the initial vote, a runoff was held on 21 April between the top two vote-getters, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a television personality, and the incumbent president, Petro Poroshenko. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), Zelenskyy won the second round with 73.22% of the votes.[1][2][3]

Ok. Thanks

I didn’t want to go through all the back and forth, and I wasn’t sure after also reading a few tweets about a recent article stating Biden has become Obama’s puppet.

Thanos tried to claim with a straight face that the “ Obamas” ( were the daughters involved too?) put Zelensky in office, even though he was elected during Trump’s presidency. I look forward to his next revelation.

It’s semantics. At the end of the day the United States put the guy in office.

But I can keep going. This a proxy war we have no business funding. On top of that, Ukraine has imprisoned and tortured American journalists. Clusters bombs are being signed off in approval by the White House. The United States and its NATO Allies blew up Nordstream Pipeline. Those are war crimes

To be fair, I don’t think you’re particularly evil, more of NPC that probably still has his Covid masks in case another “outbreak”

INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 05 August 2023

During the night of 3-4 August 2023, the Russian Navy landing ship Olenegorsky Gornyak almost certainly suffered serious damage after being struck while near the Black Sea Fleet's (BSF) Novorossiysk base.

Images of the vessel listing at 30-40 degrees suggest that several watertight compartments were breached, or that the crew's damage control efforts were ineffectual.

Routinely assigned to Russia's Northern Fleet, the vessel has augmented the BSF since Russia's invasion of Ukraine and has often ferried military and civilian traffic between Russia and occupied Crimea when the Kerch Bridge has been disrupted due to attacks.

The 3600 tonne, 113 metre long Olenegorsky Gornyak represents the largest Russian naval vessel seriously damaged or destroyed since the sinking of the cruiser Moskva on 13 April 2022. This is a significant blow to the BSF, which previously relocated most of its units to Novorossiysk due to the high threat to Sevastopol.
