It's not about superiority. It's about scaring the crap out of their air assets to keep them from attacking ground forces.

The US has paid far more for this than Ukraine in a fiscal sense, we forced our allies in WW2 to pay us back over decades, what is the difference this time?

Our allies from WW2 never came close to paying us back in full.

Our taxes don’t cover our spending now. We spend way more than we take in now and it’s not because of Ukraine. It’s because we’ve been kicking the can down the road for decades.

Unfortunately it appears Twitter has started requiring you to have an account to browse public profiles and tweets - it is not clear if this is intentional or a bug.

For what it is worth, my trawling will be limited until I find a work around as this has also broken Nitter/Fritter, (I have actually found one but it's very laborious) or decide I want to make an account since it was a good nexus for broader information.

If anyone can suggest alternative platform(s) for aggregation it would be appreciated.

This is what Musk said about it.

Several hundred organizations (maybe more) were scraping Twitter data extremely aggressively, to the point where it was affecting the real user experience.

What should we do to stop that? I’m open to ideas.

I just type whatever I'm looking for (within posts or profile name) + twitter in google search - go to whichever the top results looks most promising then orden it by "latest". Lots of retweets but easy to scroll.

Why not just create a throwaway account using a throwaway email address?

Here is something both relevant... and not so much. An "Interlude" if I may...

So one of my favorite "big in Europe" bands released a new song about a month ago. They are quite popular overseas and are considered a titan of the Symphonic Metal genre. They have a not insignificant percentage of Russians within their fan base - So doing this is definitely putting their opinion above their wallets.

The song is called "Wireless" and it's about how a soldier comes to fight for a government who sees people as numbers and not humans... and how it trickles down generationally.

The video is AI generated and while not "on the nose" regarding the current situation (incorporating past conflicts in its learning) - It is obviously pointed towards Russian aggression. IMO - It is AWESOME (as in "great and terrible").

Enjoy? Within Temptation - Wireless

I was under the assumption that it required a mobile number - have just verified this is not the case - cheers for the suggestion.

Problem with that is many of the accounts I check regularly do multi post threads so those get missed in a browser.

Plus I have about 30 of them I flick through on a daily basis, doing an independent search of each rather than "open all" for each of my groupings would take up more time than I have unfortunately.

I just used my spam catcher account. This is now Elon Musk's Twitter, not the commies from before.

Racing drones become killers. Warfare is changing before our eyes with a base price of $300.
