That is probably what the Ukrainian AF will say when they take their new pre-owned planes and shoot up the 3 mile long supply column that is currently moving at a snails pace on the highways to Kyiv because the Russians did not think to have replacement bridges ready to go in case the Ukrainians blew existing bridges up.

So Russia was concerned with enough time a pro-western Ukraine would move away from purifying Russian neon? Agree with your point about it not simply being about oil, just trying to fully wrap my mind around it.
I do think the best thing to potentially come of this is China pauses action on Taiwan. If the world levied this degree of sanctions on China it would be catastrophic for China, and by extension the world as well too.
If we don’t come on the other side of this going all out of energy independence and production & refining of key natural resources were going down fast at some point not to far off. But we undoubtedly won’t.

You think Ukraine who have been in constant action since 2013 don’t have more pilots trained than planes not even considering that some planes were probably destroyed on the ground? These “who is gonna fly them” comments are complete idiocy lol

How does Putin actually think he is going to hold and govern the citizens of the Ukraine. If the reaction in Berdyansk is any indication there is no way the Russians will.

I don’t understand how the convoy isn’t being targeted unless the Russians are doing a better job of defending it through the air than they seem to be able to establish air superiority in Kyiv.
