What is intel showing of russias fuel reserves? Does Russia normally export their oil and import refined fuels? I know their refineries are aging and some of the higher grade fuels are harder to make domestically. But how bad is it?

Russia has historically been a refined products exporter. That was their money maker rather than crude oil back in the days of the USSR. They have lost significant market share to India and China for refined products exports.

Throughput capacity of crude oil by Russian refiners has plenty of room to fill all needs at the front. Logistics to the front is another story, via ship to Crimea, and rail elsewhere. It would be real simple to get from railhead onto truck with Iso tank containers but they don't seem to know what pallets are for other supplies, doubtful they have such containers to supply to the front, or the container chassis to use in such a manner. I wouldn't be shocked to know that they transport fuel via Jerry can.

They overwhelmingly transport fuel by rail, the same way they transport everything else. Taking out the Kerch rail bridge caused Russia to revert back to using the rail ferries that they used before the bridge was opened in 2018.

This is what makes the south so vulnerable, in ways that the Donbas is not. Taking out the railroad junction at Dzankoi in Crimea stops the supply of fuel to Melitopol and the rest of southern Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts.

Watching the video again, with Dmitri's translation, I conclude that Putin had told Prigozhin to complete the capture of Bakhmut by the May 9th Victory Day celebrations, so that Russia would actually have a victory to celebrate.

I think that Prigozhin's fury is partly because he now realizes that's not going to happen.

I don't know what was riding on that, but I believe it was significant.

The tank farm hit near Sevastopol had a dock for unloading tankers to tank then loading rack for filling rail cars. So then it has to go via rail to the naval base, or rail to the some tank farm staging area, then either into jerry cans or tank truck. If it is already by rail, ISO Containers could just be loaded onto trucks. Russia is not even close to modernized with logistics

Correct. The Pablo exploded almost certainly due to the crew's failure to inert the cargo tanks following discharge. This leaves the discharged tanks full of explosive vapors and oxygen. Add to this the hundreds of sources of static charge on a oil tanker and you get the FAFO Award of the Month.

[If you practice the TLDR method, stop reading here.] Normal practice is to inert the cargo tanks with the exhaust gas from the ship's boilers during discharge. The exhaust gas (called 'stack gas' as it normally goes up the stack) has had most of its oxygen burned in combustion, thus making it ideal for this purpose. It is also free, another major consideration for owners and flag agents. Best / required practice is to begin inerting before the first tanks being discharged are empty and continuing inerting each tank as it is being discharged in a cascading manner.

Static electricity is very very dangerous and very damaging. Check that flying deck section in this video. You can count yourself fortunate to have a procedure that almost completely removes this risk, such as inerting vessel tanks. To ignore or even delay this procedure is unbelievable but it obviously happens. Probably due to the owners or agents hiring the cheapest crew available. Crew quality is another topic but it follows nationalities. Best? Philipino and Norwegian. Worst? Just guess. Hint: They drink so much vodka that they have to be propped up on the floor in a corner of the cargo control room just to be able to talk.

Prigozhin shares graphic video of Wagner fighters killed today, with the most furious message he has yet directed personally at Shoigu and Gerasimov. “Shoigu! Gerasimov! Where are the fricking shells!”

“Look at them, you bitches! (…) you sit in expensive clubs (…) your children make YouTube videos (…) you think you have the right to dispose of their [Wagner fighters] lives (…) they came here as volunteers and died so you could gorge yourselves in your offices.”

The lid is OFF. Excellent background scenery by the way.

To underline your point about Russian dependence on rail tank cars for fuel movement, there are no road truck loading racks at either this depot or the Black Sea fleet depot further up the harbor.

INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 5 May 2023

A recent uptick in Russian rail accidents in areas bordering Ukraine, attributed to sabotage committed by unknown actors, has almost certainly caused short-term localised disruption to Russian military rail movements.

Although its Railway Troop Brigades are capable of restoring lines quickly, these incidents will increase pressure on Russia's internal security forces, who will highly likely remain unable to fully protect Russia's vast and vulnerable rail networks from attack.

Ukrainian sources claim that the UkrAF shot down a Russian Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missile on May 4, 2023 with the recently arrived Patriot air defense system.

LINK

However isn’t the Kinzhal basically just an air-launched ballistic missile?

Correct, it makes a ballistic arc to gain hypersonic speed, but the issue is that it can change direction unlike a ballistic missile

Hey, I was right about something. Prigozhin actually mentioned in his withdrawal statement that he was supposed to complete the capture of the city by May 9th.

Lots of discussion on Twitter about whether or not a Ukrainian Patriot system downed a Kinzhal hypersonic missile last night. If so, it would be an important demonstration of Patriot's capabilities.

But some dispute that the downed missile is a Kinzhal, and the Ukrainian MoD says that they didn't shoot down any Russian ballistic missiles last night.

So who knows?

Man what a fricked up country/society. This guy has spent 8-9 years in prison for theft and he is nothing but a thug mafia type.

They won't pull out of Bakhmut. He has threatened this before. He is bluffing and using this as a power move. He is laying the blame for them not being able to take it by May 9. Putin will somehow smooth this over. Prigozhin will get what he wants, if Wagner pulls out the Russian army will not hold Bakhmut and that would be a disaster for Putin. Heads would roll in the Russian military ministry. This is coming down to a power play between the Russian defense ministry and Prigozhin. Prigozhin has Putin over a barrel, he cannot afford to lose Wagner. There are other oligarchs in Russia that are now forming their own pmc's as we speak.

Exactly. The Russians are very good at informational chaos, but this is not an example of their skill.
