So, when you talk about "what the Ukrainian people are facing," you insult them. They have been facing Russian aggression for a year and are fighting back bravely, at the cost of tens of thousands of their soldiers' lives.

Some act as if Ukraine brought this in their selves. All they had to do to avoid this was to let Russia run their country. All they had to do was avoid the West, remaining corrupt and accept being a slave state.

It's not like i like it...i'm just telling you, what they are facing is an alliance that is hell bent on winning...rules be damned!! This isn't going to stop anytime soon...especially with them purchasing 100,000,000 rounds and 300,000 shells. It is only going to get worse. But i get what you are saying...believe me!!!

which the further along this goes, is clearly showing that Russia doesn't have to go at this alone. The Russia/China/India/Iran/NK alliance is real

We drove to Downtown Baghdad a few times and went to the bazaars and street side shops. Also went to Camp Liberty a few times since it was a stone's throw from our camp and our laundry was done there. have a picture at home of me in Uday 's throne.

he Russia/China/India/Iran/NK alliance is real

I could buy this is you remove India. India and China are not going to ally themselves with one another. China has been a backer of North Korea for a while and has already shown that they are good with Russia. As has Iran. So I could see the other 4 being together.

But India will not be rushing to China's side anytime soon, they just like cheap Russian oil at the moment. And who could really blame them for taking advantage of that.

The only nation openly helping Russia in its invasion of Ukraine is Belarus (which can barely be called an independent nation). Iran is helping Russia while officially denying doing so. North Korea may or may not be actively helping Russia, as there have been suspicious shipments, but there's no proof; but they also deny helping Russia. China has denied helping Russia, while they have been credibly accused of providing non-lethal aid (stuff like uniforms and tires).

That just does not sound like much of an alliance to me.

Ukraine, on the other hand, has 54 nations in the Ramstein Group actively and openly assisting Ukraine's defense.

So, Russia has one nation actively and openly helping it, while Ukraine has 54. Hmm.

Bad news for Ukraine. It had earlier appeared that momentum was on the side of changing their constitution to accommodate nations who wanted to ship Swiss-made weapons and ammo to Ukraine.

The Swiss government officially killed their defense industry today.

Swiss government refuses re-export of arms to Ukraine

Reuters

GENEVA, March 10 (Reuters) - Switzerland's government said on Friday it will not change its long-standing policy banning the transfer of Swiss-made arms to a third country despite growing pressure from European nations to export them to Ukraine.

Calls for Switzerland to break with centuries of tradition as a neutral state have been growing both internally and externally since Russia invaded Ukraine more than a year ago. In January, two parliamentary committees recommended that the rules be eased.

India is part of no such alliance other than sticking it to Russia for oil at basically cost to produce while Russia needs to just keep it flowing.

Russia and China have helped keep Iran solvent for 2 decades with a lot more support than a pallet of cabbage. India and China have routine border clashes without firearms. A lot goes on in trade with Iran to/from everywhere. Goods from there are just repackaged in say Dubai or another anti Shia Pet nation.

How hilarious would it be for Ukraine’s planned big upcoming offensive starts right at Bakhmut? All the bridge laying machines being sent signaling a big push in the south over flat ground and it ends up being right at the spot where Russia has been trying to capture the entire winter. That would be the biggest mind frick. I don’t think that will happen of course but it sure as shite would be funny.

It would be an anvil of irony, though tactically I am not sure it would be the best place if they are looking to end things sooner rather than later.

Still others have said they may choose to exploit any weakness they can which is a possibility, though in the overall wall an error in my view.

With that said it would be an interesting move to kick off from Bahkmut and target the areas that were contested prior to the invasion on the 24th in Dontesk and Luhansk. From a psychological perspective taking them would be a huge up yours to Russia.

I really doubt it. Nobody expects the Swiss to not be completely neutral. It’s been there thing for a long time.

That quandary is already affecting the local defense industry as war rages in eastern Europe, and by extension is making traditional customers for Swiss arms wary. Or, as a top industry official put it, “we are just losing our market.”

The official, secretary general of the ASD Swiss defense industry federation Matthias Zoller, told Breaking Defense that in a recent meeting with Swiss economics minister Guy Parmelin, a dozen CEOs of defense companies had given recent examples of situations in which they had expected to have been asked for requests for proposals from abroad and didn’t get them.

“Some even got letters asking if their company could guarantee that they could share and deliver weapons in case NATO allies had to invoke Article 5 of its founding treaty … but no Swiss company can give this guarantee because Swiss law not only prohibits giving to other countries but also prohibits delivering to countries involved in an internal or external armed conflict,” Zoller said.

Other countries never really thought through the impact of buying Swiss materiel. The fact that NATO Article 5 is not an exemption means that no NATO country can purchase Swiss stuff and have any confidence that it can be used in a NATO conflict.

If article v is invoked ain’t nobody delivering shite to fellow NATO countries because they’re all going to be in the fight anyways. And even if they’re weren’t, Daddy USA will be there to win the war anyways.

Serbia was supposed to be a Russian ally. They certainly hate the US and NATO. But Serbian-made rockets have been going to Ukraine through several intermediaries. Serbian President Vucic:
quote:

An expert appears and says, you know, the Russians are very sensitive to those tricks and frauds, and now the Russians have broken into the treacherous regime in Serbia and there will be a harsh reaction. So the American-Luxembourg television tycoon let the one she herself called a fascist, let him tell us that we are guilty of arming Ukraine. What is actually the truth? It is about a batch of ammunition that ended up in Turkey. Whatever ammunition you export anywhere will end up in Syria, Mali, somewhere where there is a war going on. We respected all the laws, we did not step on anything, everything is as clean as a tear, and of course neither Russia nor Ukraine were involved. If you export to many countries, there are traders, it may end up in Ukraine or Russia. We have to feed people, our economy has to thrive. We make guns, not shoe heels, so what do we do now? Have we violated any law, well no. But they remembered "Now we will report Vucic to Russia". I feel like issuing a statement to all those who can't wait to report Serbia - let's stop for a moment. That Serbia is the most beautiful, it has given us everything in life. Sometimes be on the side of Serbia, not against it. And no, we are not against Serbia, we are against ourselves because only those who prefer Russia or America and Brussels to Serbia are on Serbia's side.

He's basically saying "we have to keep making those rockets to make money, and it's not our business if a country resells them to Ukraine."

So, I think we can expect those indirect shipments to continue.
