What is the current thinking about these things?
Rogozin said that the Marker robot will be able to hit Abrams and Leopard tanks
Russia says it has two versions of its robotic tank-killer "Marker" unmanned vehicles which can destroy either the Leopard or M-1 Abrams from a distance of 15km ready to move into battle.

Meanwhile we have this from our Israeli partners.
Bad arse photo.

Awesome picture
Too bad they couldn't get a B1-B and a B2 in it as well.

Member when I said yesterday that this was the new talking point?
We should not forget Russia's high tech robot from a few years ago that turned out to be a man in a robot suit...

Something to get the tankers juices flowing.

I wonder if Ukraine has any of our anti-Marker vehicles and if Russia has any anti-anti-Markers.
Kidding aside, I suspect any movement of Abrams along the front lines will be done under a watchful eye in the sky.

Yep the comments by Rogozin are already propagating on numerous websites that promote significantly pro-Russian stories and talking points.
I'm curious what other's opinions are regarding the circled part are, to me it looks like a early 2000's era security camera pod.
If it does work as advertised would Russia have the capability to field them in significant enough numbers to prove effective?

All of those pics look like old original M1s or possibly A1s. No CITVs mounted on top of the turret right to the front side of the loader's. M240. I only deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in A2s. In 1st CAV, we got A2s at the end of 1998.
We did take losses though, especially from IEDs. The engineers could only do so much i. That environment. Especially Iraq.
ETA and that bottom right pic doesn't look right. I don't see the doghouse (where the GPS and laser looks through) on top of the turret in front of the TCs station. In front of the TCs station is a 50 cal mount. On the A2s, it's a John Wayne style. On the A1s the 50 cal is fired from the TC inside the turret. The doghouse should be in front of that.

If is a word bigger than Siberia. They can't even produce T14s. Even if they had the full schematics and blueprints to build these and even if they had the skilled workers that could build them in mass where the hell would they get the massive amount of high-tech chips something like this would require to run. Russia is covered up with chip fabs that make 3nm and 5nm MOSFET technology node chips. China can't make them and they can't be scavenged from microwaves and washing machines stolen from Ukraine.
Russian cope propaganda just gets crazier and crazier.

Is your purpose in life to be the conduit of laughable Russian propaganda? If so, then well done.

Considering that both Syria Girl and Jackson Hinkle alternate kissing Putin's icon.

Kenny Baker passed away a few years ago. I guess they can find another midget to operate it, like maybe Putin himself.

Top right looks like an A1, possibly even an A2. It's hard to tell from the pic and battlefield damage. But we never deployed to Iraq in that camouflage to my knowledge, only desert brown.
And after looat it closer, the bottom right is definitely whacked. That's an extra roadwheel mounted to the top of the turret in front of the TCs station. And no doghouse. Without a doghouse, the only sight the gunner can use is the GAS (gunner's auxiliary sight) AKA choke sight. Because you have to manually choke the range and manually induce lead through the GAS sight.

I believe this. They likely have 2 prototypes.

I agree that is 100% BS

Hasn't this already been debunked? This post is using the fact that 530 Abrams had to be sent to maintenance centers out of the middle east as evidence that they were destroyed. 100% disinformation.
