Yeah they all got fricked in the arse at Hostomel airport at the very start of the war. They really weren’t prepared for Ukraine to put up such a fight. They were idiots for going right at the airport with helicopters to bring the Spetsnaz guys in because Ukraine had a good little while to know Russia was planning something and naturally that airfield would be a prime target so they trained an artillery battery on the airfield and ranged it in perfectly with their guns days before Russia invaded. When they landed they had troops waiting to meet them and artillery completely zeroed in on them. The Ukrainians slaughtered them there.
