I actually read somewhere that the Wikipedia map is remarkably accurate, maybe the most accurate out there.

I think the larger appetite for war in the west (outside of the US), as far as real deal MAJOR conflict is still majorly low and Ukraine > Syria.

The blowback via protests and demonstrations across Europe has been impressive. People aren't swallowing this one very well at all.

Agreed. And I don't think it's THAT high here.
Now, if Trump was in office, then everyone would say that the U.S. was drooling for a full scale war.
