Correct. Just like there are not bio weapon labs in Ukraine according to MSM and yet there are.

Because Tucker said so? Define biolab. The 4th largest biolab in the USA is on Perkins Road in Baton Rouge. It is owned by the Pennington Foundation.

You do know that this idea of bio WEAPONS labs came from Russian media which claimed that Ukraine was creating superhuman soldiers at bioweapons labs and why they beat Russia back from Kyiv.

Tucker is a Dem with previous relations with Hunter bidan. These labs, around 20 are some of the targets Putin wanted to disable to ensure they were not released. Can I answer you exact question, no.

Can you answer me this: why did Obama take out the previous Ukraine President in 2014? What happened since? Why did Bidan as Vice bribe the Ukraine officials to not allow their lawyer to investigate/prosecute Burisma

Do you all even understand the history? yes, MSM is lying across the world. The Twitter files just proved the FBI using psy ops and the FBI claims it’s conspicracy. Please research mokingbird media.

That's so brazenly dishonest.

Comparing the strengthening of our own military to simultaneously pussifying our own military and disarming it in favor of a corrupt illiberal shithole?

Just because both cost money?

Despicable.

Where are the pictures and videos of these labs that Russia found when they invaded part of Ukraine?

I swear you loons are scary sometimes.

No, this is absolutely not true in any way. First of all, the Senate just voted today and the House will vote tomorrow to spend over $11 billion to replace weapons we have sent to Ukraine. Our military, in the space of a year or so, update and upgrade our weapons stocks.

But the indirect benefits to the US military go far beyond that, because every war is an experiment.

Every piece of NATO equipment in Ukraine is getting tested against a peer foe for the first time in decades. These pieces of NATO equipment are also getting tested against each other. What we are learning will guide the development of the next generation of US weapons.

And not even just weapons: our Ukrainian friends will be able to teach us a good deal about modern tactics.

Our enemies?

Yes, Russia is also learning, but they won't have the money to act on that knowledge for decades. I mean, there's a reason that T-14 Armata tanks and SU-57 fighters haven't won this war for Russia -- Russia couldn't afford to build them.

China? They will learn some very general lessons, but not the critical details.

Did Obama back Maiden? Probably because the then president was aligned with Russia. Does backing protestors mean Obama ordered the change? Nope. Only 1 country actually had a successful Arab spring so saying the US is the one and only reason that Ukraine had a change in leadership is pretty dumb

What happened since

They had 2 elections and Russia backed civil war. Trump actually gave Ukraine some weapons too.

Are you inferring that this is the reason the US is supporting Ukraine now?

Reagan Republican here. My first vote was for him in ‘84.

I want to see Russia’s military destroyed because it is the most pathologically dishonest regime (run by pathologically dishonest people) in human history. Russia is the last country in the world that unapologetically views itself as an empire, and it covets another country that it used to dominate. If you believe in a rules-based order in the modern world, those rules simply must include the inviolability of borders.

Is Ukraine perfect? Of course not. But it has been finding its footing since 2014. Ukraine is a nation of mostly good, patriotic people who want to be free and prosper. They yearn to be part of the West because the West is where people are truly free and prosperous. And they were invaded, shot, bombed and raped. Thriving cities that had no quarrel with Russia have been reduced to rubble.

Russia doesn’t want to be free and prosper. Russia just wants to dominate its neighbors and feel like it is a “great power.” frick Russia.

Yeah, I’m a Republican. And I’m all in for Ukraine.

The Cradle
According to a 20 December report released by Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, the US is currently attempting to rebuild Liwa Thuwwar al-Raqqa (Raqqa Revolutionary Brigade) – a former Islamist militia opposed to Damascus.

The report states that the US efforts are aimed at appeasing Turkiye by facilitating the withdrawal of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from the border – as Ankara has requested – and replacing it with a revived version of the former opposition group to serve as a buffer zone on the Syrian-Turkish border.

In order to make this happen, US officers told the group’s leader in a recent meeting to consolidate a formidable force of up to 3,000 fighters, and assured him that Washington would secure their monthly pay-checks.

At the same time, the plan aims to compromise Russian efforts at mediation between the SDF and Turkiye by “pulling the rug out from under” Moscow’s proposition to Ankara. Russia’s proposition calls for a pullback of the Kurdish militia and the deployment of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) along the Syrian-Turkish border.

Essentially, the rebuilding of the Raqqa-based militant group serves the US “desire to prevent any Russian or Syrian governmental attempt to advance towards the strongholds of American influence,” Al-Akhbar said in a newer report released on 22 December.

The US has also recently confirmed that it has no plans of leaving Syria or ending sanctions.

Thank you. That means a lot coming from such an esteemed poster. Although just pointing out some times when posters here cherry picked comments from the PT board, exaggerated, and then dismissed those who checked out the full discussion on the PT board for themselves as being a PT board regular pales in comparison to the accolades you regularly rack up here on the OT.

Long time lurker, first time poster just wanting to say thank you to yourself, Obtuse, Chromedome, CitizenK, Cypher, Stormy Mcman, WestCoastAG, WeeWee and all the others whom I missed for the time you have taken in providing information regarding the war.

I stumbled across this site a long time ago while researching Qanon back when that thread was active and stayed for the PT board take on things over the past several years as I like to get a cross section of views and information, and for all its failings, the PT throws out some interesting ones to say the least.

As someone with a more than passing dalliance looking into historical events, both past and present, this thread has been a great resource to get more real time and relatively unbiased background (though understandably Western leaning) information sources regarding the conflict away from the sanitised side of journalism readily available online.

I am sure I already have the ire of those who are blatantly partisan/trolling the thread as a first time poster and thus a troll/alt/newbie ,but to double down, I believe this thread should remain off the PT board. Proportionately, from my reading of it, 95% of the posts in this thread are not political beyond being about political decisions pertaining to the war and discussion only becomes overtly political when drive bys or trolls rock in to flame the thread.

Have you all enjoy a bit of a break in the coming weeks, and if you are one of the more upset posters - hopefully 2023 is better for you.
