So expand on this.
Are the talking points I'm seeing from the Right designed as a domestic political stance just for the sake of owning the Left? For guys who "love Reagan", they sure are impressed with ol' Savvy Putin.
You're down with their praises?
The US doesn’t go to war for “righteous” reasons anymore.
We are pushed into sacrificing lives and money to enrich the scumbags in our political class, that so many people seem to worship.
We just spent 20 years in a war and we received nothing for it.
This conflict is the same.
In the end it will be the exact same, a fricking waste.
Then everyone on here can forget about it after 6 months so we can go off and “fight for freedom” in another useless country.

And that's cool.
So, why are so many going on and on about how brilliant he is? What does that have to do with minding our own business? That doesn't bother anyone?

So you can't say someone pulled a smart move even though you don't agree with it?

Must every thread about this become about Trump and arguments against thin air about putting troops in combat

It’s not like Russia and China are small backwaters like Vietnam or Afghanistan. They would probably pose a serious threat to our way of life if they gain global hegemony. China is already doing it.
If we had any sense at all and/or weren’t bought and paid for by China we wouldn’t have continued to treat Russia so adversarial and played them off of China to keep them from getting so cozy and cozier by the minute. Had we done that and not gone back on our word with NATO expansion to their doorstep this likely wouldn’t be happening and we’d have less to worry about.

Nigeria invaded Niger earlier today and murdered over half a dozen children. Should we intervene? Why isn't this plastered on the nightly news? It's because war is a racket. And there's a whole lot more money to be made in Eastern Europe than Central Africa.

It’s contextual - if your wife convinced you to go on a guys weekend in order to invite Jody over, would you praise her strategy?

China is already doing it. And also we have an all volunteer army with a ton of reservists. If your kid doesn’t want to fight and was forced into it we would have bigger problems
If that's the case, why don't we have 200,000 troops in Africa?

Whereas Nigeria and Niger are just Nigeria and Niger
And Nigeria didnt invade Niger

quote:This did not happen. A Nigerian hey went into Nigérien airspace to conduct a strike what was more than likely a boko harem cell and screwed up or just didn’t give a frick about civilian casualties. Niger and Nigeria are not enemies.

Mike Leach can admire Lane Kiffin's play calling without being an Ole Miss fan or wanting them to win.

The reason Russia is doing this is because NATO is constantly trying to expand further and further east. You can't blame him for reacting like this.

No it’s not - it’s separating intentions from strategy. You just got back from a guys weekend didn’t you…. Sorry baw

I understand why Putin is doing what hes doing even if I dont support it. I can both be "I get it" while also thinking its bad
I was merely responding to why we may be paying more attention to this over a Nigerian invasion of Niger that didnt even happen

Today, increasing reports of far-right violence, ultranationalism, and erosion of basic freedoms are giving the lie to the West’s initial euphoria. There are neo-Nazi pogroms against the Roma, rampant attacks on feminists and LGBT groups, book bans, and state-sponsored glorification of Nazi collaborators.

Post-Maidan Ukraine is the world’s only nation to have a neo-Nazi formation in its armed forces. The Azov Battalion was initially formed out of the neo-Nazi gang Patriot of Ukraine. Andriy Biletsky, the gang’s leader who became Azov’s commander, once wrote that Ukraine’s mission is to “lead the White Races of the world in a final crusade…against the Semite-led Untermenschen.” Biletsky is now a deputy in Ukraine’s parliament.
Just read this article.
The government installed by Obama and Biden is a fricking atrocity.
