We sure they are t90s. Listening to others sounds like mostly t72 and t80s. And maybe 1 or 2 t90s. Made it sound like the t90s are in the process of getting upgrades but having issues due to microchips. While the t72s and t80s got their upgrade.

Either way there are a ton of Russian tanks out of commission

I still think the thing that gets me is....

Russia still doesn't have air superiority.

If 4300 Russians were dead, I would assume you'd see a TON more footage of bodies and a ton of video fighting between two parties.

Most videos are just aftermath shots where Ukrainians capture Russians or equipment on the side of the road. Or one sided fighting (with no signs of Russians).

Either we aren't being told the truth or Russia Army frickING SUCKS.

100% and would add I’ve seen zero counts for any Ukrainian losses to compare to states Russian losses.

If Belarus actually declares war, I wonder if that changes things. Will some other country, like Poland etc, jumps in at that point. A formal declaration of war by Belarus seems to perceptually expand this.

Also if Nukes are placed in Belarus does that change things.

There are little things that could occur that could really ramp up this war.

Also note that these Belarus things could be Ukraine propaganda

If I were them I would not post their losses. It could potentially demoralize the fighters

I've seen a couple T90 and a bunch of T72. And a bunch of fuel trucks and what I assume is the Russian version of an MRAP.

Nukes would be closer to NATO and scare folks but in reality. They can be attached to ICBMs so who really gives a shite. IMO.

Ukraine is smart and playing a propaganda war. Reporting only things that will embolden their people. So losses by the other side. Only deaths they report on their side is emotional ones. Kids. Heroes. Tell stories about the ghost of Kyiv or snake island. They are playing the propaganda war very nicely currently and winning it. They can control it a bit more bc it is in their territory

I agree in reality it doesn’t make a difference. But do we use that to do something on our end. NATO that is.

Watching these live cams, how is it that looks like business as usual in cities like Lviv?

Agree, I just have an inquiring mind and would like some comparison to gauge winning/losing.

Reading some blurbs about a couple oligarchs going public with their disdain for the operation, namely Oleg Deripaska

[BBC News]

quote:

Italy is among 14 EU countries, including France, Belgium, Germany, Finland, Slovenia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic and Poland to have shut off their airspace to Russian aircraft. The UK shut its airspace off to Russian flights last week.

Moscow responded by closing its airspace to commercial and transit flights from EU countries, with the measure so far aimed at planes linked or registered to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Austrian Airlines said on Saturday it was cancelling flights to Russia and avoiding Russian airspace for at least seven days. Swiss International Air Lines is maintaining flights for now.

Agreed.

Russia operates in the mindset of the past and sees this as strength when really it's symbolic at best.
