Many of those are good sources and free thinkers, but as others have said, I'm not sure I'd peg many as geopolitical experts.

Why hasn't Russia conquered Kyiv yet? Why hasn't Russia made a mile of progress in over a month? When is Russia going to win the war?

I disagree. Palmetto’s shifting rhetorical questions are one of the best gauges of how the war is going out there.

We’ve gone from “has Russia been defeated in Kyiv yet?” to “has Moscow fallen to Ukraine yet?”

You couldn’t ask for a better set of tea leaves.

Why hasn’t Russia collapsed yet since McDonalds and Starbucks left to stick it to Putin!?!

Your comment, not mine.

But look around Russia is cracking some. Explosions everywhere. Citizens being taken from civilian life to the fronts. Using mentally challenged men and criminals to fight. All evidence of a society breaking up.

They seem to be getting pretty efficient with the M777.

Russia changed the name of McDonald’s to “Tasty Period.”

Can you, as a Russophile, explain why they would select such a disgusting name?

EU rips up Russia visa deal as it bows to demands of eastern member states

The EU has agreed to suspend a visa deal with Moscow and backed demands by eastern member states to curb the number of Russians crossing into their countries, as it bows to pressure to punish travellers over Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

The decision is a victory for Poland, the Baltic states and Finland, which had threatened to take steps to stop Russian citizens entering their countries and the bloc’s free-travel Schengen zone if more reticent states, led by France and Germany, blocked a collective approach.

The move also marks the first time that the EU has agreed to directly target ordinary Russians in the wake of the invasion.

That is impressive

And the last month or so completely unafraid to unlimber in an open field and blaze away. Prudent against counter battery stuff not not worried about anything in the air.

It's been quite easy for Russians and Europeans to travel back and forth since the end of the Cold War, but things are moving back towards pre-fall of the USSR. And all because Putin's stupid decision and the fact that he recognizes that if he's seen to lose, he gets putsched.

Also earth to y’all, the fall of Kiev came directly from CNN and US generals. When you bring that shvt up, you are hurting your own credibility lmao.

SIAP elsewhere... You can run a paywalled url through archive.today to either view the paywalled content, or generate a viewable url.

Works for most sites.

I'm not advocating posting the archived and viewable url because problems with Chicken might arise, especially if posting blocked articles from The Athletic, etc.

Lmao is right. You’re trying to spin Russia’s catastrophic military failure on us.

The only people that rely on MSM in this thread are the Russophiles. Think about that.

Russia doesn’t need Kiev, it’s a liability. Russia already has the viable economic regions of Ukraine secured, gaining combat experience against top western weaponry, and has a dominant negotiating position with the EU. IDK what this failure is?
